"When the dust has cleared, and victory denied; a summit too lofty, river a little too wide. If we keep our pride, though paradise is lost, we will pay the price, but we will not count the cost."

Dear Princess Twilight,

I just wanted to quickly thank you again for helping me settle into Ponyville. I'm writing from my dorm room in the School of Friendship now.

Tomorrow is the start of a new day and a new life. I look forward to seeing what surprises my new friends have in store for me.

I will write more soon. Thank you again for believing in me.

Your faithful student,
Luster Dawn

This story is a sequel to A Canterlot Leaddening

After the Crystalling of Flurry Heart, things had calmed down for a while. About the only incident of the last few weeks related to not getting her her bedtime snack in time. But now, she has achieved a milestone. Six whole months.

As is tradition by now--at least according to Cadance--all the Sparkle family must be trained in the ways of love. Not the magic of love, for that's her specialty. No, Flurry will learn the ways of the lead, and spew much death and destruction upon her enemies. If she can figure out how to pull the trigger, that is.

Reading the prequel is not required to understand this story.

An entry for the Cadance is a Terrible Mom competition 2021.

Dreck von Schlemmenschwimmer is a simple griff. He sees a way to survive, he'll take it. Perhaps others would ask for a boring life, one filled with the drudgery of going out every day, slinging muck at one another, and then returning home to sleep in a cold cot with one's own fresh turnip. However, Dreck is not stuck with a dull life. After all, every day yields new surprises from Katerin's mad princess. Who doesn't love the chance to lose their head once a week?

Set in the world of the Heart's of Iron IV mod, Equestria at war.

Written as an entry in Equestria at War's Fourth Annual Writing Competition.

Thanks once again to EverfreePony for editing.

The clock is ticking. After being united in Canterlot's crystal mines, Twilight and Cadance, the real Cadance, must combat the threat of whatever infiltrated the alicorn's wedding, or risk losing not only Twilight's brother, but her friends, too. The solution will be difficult and the path fraught with danger, but with the power of love on their side, they can do anything. It will require a lot of love, though. Specifically, a love of bullets.

Another big thanks to EverfreePony for their editing prowess.

Now that Equestria is finally at peace, Starlight can begin to move forward with her life as the new headmare of the School of Friendship. Thankfully, she has Sunburst to help her out, at least most of the time. And she doesn't spend time secretly following him while he's going about his work. Absolutely not!

As summer is in full swing, Sunburst has accepted an invitation from Cadance to help with some new problems with Flurry Heart. With the clock counting down before he returns to the Empire, Starlight "kindly asks" that the two of them go on a date. Absolutely nothing will go wrong. It's not like the two of them can turn anything into a disaster zone given enough time.

Thanks to sneaky_boi and The Bamboozler for pre-reading and giving feedback and EverfreePony for the amazing editing work and getting this to be presentable.

Even though it's only been days since the Storm King's invasion of Equestria, Tempest has now been tasked to start learning about friendship. After an encounter with Starlight Glimmer, she joins the Reformed Unicorn Mares group. Surely interacting with a few ponies can't be too hard, right?

It's Christmas, and the Dazzlings are just getting by with no pendants. On Adagio's day off, she and Sonata visit Aria (who's working as a Christmas elf) to try and cheer her up a bit before getting her something special for the holidays.

Thanks again to my good friend AShadowOfCygnus for editing on short notice.

Months have passed since the Battle of the Bands. As the school returned to normal, the Dazzlings decided to continue to attend, keeping to themselves and observing the student body. When Principal Celestia asks for volunteers for setting up a charity Easter egg hunt, Adagio, Aria, and Sonata join the Rainbooms, who already volunteered to help.

Is it merely an innocent gesture, or does Adagio have something planned to get back at the Rainbooms for the Dazzlings' defeat?

The "other" character tag is because I have more than five tag-able characters in the story.

Thanks again to AShadowOfCygnus for pre-reading this behemoth of a oneshot.

Sunset was just trying to show the school that she was reformed. What easier way to do that than by giving a tour to new students? After she shows three new students -- who act very strangely around her -- around, she begins to wonder if there's something more to those three when she keeps bumping into them left and right.

Inspired and expanded upon of Wubcake's first Rainbow Rocks parody.

Thanks once more to my awesome friend and pre-reader, AShadowOfCygnus for getting to this so quickly.

Cover image done by me, since I couldn't find any good cover art for this, and I also love Aria's line in the video.

Alternate universe tag for the fact that the Dazzlings aren't evil, amongst other things.

The Dazzlings had been spending a relaxing vacation at a ski resort. However, after a horrible day trapped on the ski-lifts, they finally returned to the hotel to just forget about their experience.

After Adagio leaves to register a complaint with the management, Aria readies herself for a peaceful evening. But when Sonata finishes her food that she got from room service and decides to "borrow" a cake that was delivered to a neighboring room, she gets dragged along to help Sonata with the heist.

Should be no problem, right?

Disclaimer: there is a bit of suggestive (at least by my standards) humor in this story.

Story based on and set in thegreatcat14's A Dazzling Winter continuity. This adapts, combines and amalgamates a few of her pictures together and uses her interpretations of the Dazzlings. I give a massive thanks to her for allowing me to write this.

Thanks to AShadowOfCygnus for pre-reading, and generally putting up with my twisted and completely Dazzlings-addicted mind.

Cover art is Partners in Crime. Made for this story by greatcat herself.

Now with a reading by AShadowOfCygnus, too.
