This was full of barely contained sadness. I love it so much. And you write well in the second person. But the question is are you going to expand on this?
Hmmm... I'll track this. It seems to be going in an interesting direction.
Interesting. I believe that it is implied that Earth ponies come from Earth ponies, Pegasi from Pegasi, and Unicorns from Unicorns.
However, you have taken a bold move with Scoot's mother being an Earth pony. It will be interesting to see where you go with this.

I knew who the father was very early on but i still had doubt.
