Everypony's favorite schoolteacher is Miss Cheerilee. She's sweet, she's kind, she's the best teacher any of the foals in town could hope for.
But nopony really knows where she came from. Before Ponyville, during the War, nothing. But when one small colt makes a connection from a history book, Cheerilee finds herself thrust back into a world she'd hoped she'd left behind.
A/N: Inspired by some events in Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, but not going to a ponified retelling or a crossover. Rated teen for violence and potential language in future chapters.
