As a way to say thank you for inviting Starlight to the human world, the unicorn offers Sunset Shimmer a chance to visit Equestria. Her visit may not be as eventful as the last two times, but she's still met with meeting leaders of other countries, dealing with a giant monster and a bad tempered changeling, and finally getting the biggest surprise of all time from her family.

The title alone worried me for a sec as I was immediately thinking of forgotten friendship, aka my least favorite eqg special as the title alone was making me think something bad was gonna happen to Sunset. But it was really Spike. Heh...
As for Ember not seeing the difference between Twilight and Starlight - this may be a vision problem for Ember not seeing Lavender (Twilight) from Lilac (Starlight). There are other differences (main style, cutie marks, and wings) but we've seen that most ponies (and others) see the horn before noticing the (furled?) wings. Twilight is also slightly taller than Starlight but that isn't as noticeable if they're not that close to each other.
