Only a few months after her humiliation in Ponyville, Trixie is still taking her show around Equestria. But when she ends up in a small village on Hearth's Warming Eve, they would rather watch their annual pageant than her festive performance.

Trixie does not take their rejection well.

Well-written fic, Alex! I love how Trixie can't even interrupt the damn pageant properly. I'm glad that the story cuts into this at a different angle in the end. Tilled Earth being a good kid to give Trixie a chance to be part of the festivities. Still heartwarming and definitely worth a reader's time. Loved it!

Oh, and I gotta mention this line:

...they were both played by earth ponies wearing fake horns on headbands.

Well that’s just offensive, Trixie thought to herself.

This one had me laughing quite a bit. She's attempting to interrupt a village's tradition for Hearth's Warming and her lack of self-awareness makes this ten times more funnier.
