Twas the night before Nightmare Night, where most ponies are getting ready for scares and jitters. On this day, a stranger decides to pay the class of Cheerile a visit and tell them the legend of the Slender Stallion. Once the stranger finished with the tale, Applebloom and the Cutie Mark Crusaders decide that they would look for the Slender Stallion within the Everfree Forest on Nightmare Night so they could be the "Slender Catchers". But when they enter the Everfree, things aren't what they seemed. For who knows where it might be hiding...

Whenever The Slenderman is involved in a so called "death", the bodies are never found. When he shows himself to someone they just disappear or (IF they survive the encounter) they go insane.
That said, I like this story and will continue to read.

Scary? Not really.

And, I'll be serious right now, the first chapter of the re-written thing I'm currently working on is already as long as this story. And I'll be honest, I never expected this to still be read by people. It's really old and honestly badly written, BUT HEY! FREAKING TWO YEARS LATER, I COME BACK TO THE FANDOM AND WHAT DO YOU KNOW THIS IS STILL BEING READ AND LIKED AND WHATNOT.
