Forsaken to these frozen mountains, her life is dwindling.
She is happily bitter, content to die alone.
Until they found her.
And cared for her more than anyone could.

This is a very nice short story. Not the first I've seen using the idea that the Windegos were overly-wronged by Celestia/ponies in the past, but adding Sunset plus an alternate timeline of her split with Celestia has made this very interesting. I'd definitely be interested if you were to expand on this more in another story.
