For this story, all I can say is that we've all been there at one time or another. And I am at that age where I've been to these sorts of things already, and more than once or twice...
I just have to remark that upon considering what could possibly happen with a drunk Starlight, I truly would shudder at the notion. She is just too powerful of a unicorn to be so reckless while being drunk. Just the thought of any drunk unicorn is enough to send chills up my spine...
If this were three months, I would buy this type of reaction from Starlight, but it’s been years. Shouldn’t she be recovering a little by now?

Anyway. This chapter further looks like it illustrates the evils of drinking, seemingly unintentionally. A crutch for not dealing with the actual issue. Starlight can drink all she wants, but it won't make the issue go away.
Little disappointed in Twilight. When Starlight asked if Trixie would be disappointed Twilight should've said yes. She apparently has become a drunk, bitter, unproductive pony. I don't see why Trixie wouldn't be disappointed.
Placating someone is generally not the answer. This story is quite interesting.

Personally, I’d have cut Starlight off from the alcohol altogether but I guess Twilight’s solution isn’t terrible. As long as she limits it, she won’t die from poisoning.
This chapter was sweet, I ship TwiStar more as lovers but it was nice to see other headcanons for them.
