Just a couple months after embarking on their journey through the world of Planes. Our heroes are thrown into a ruined world with a brutal backstory. They meet Cloud Strife, a mercenary living in solitude. Together, they must find a cure to an unknown illness and take down an evil gang that wishes to bring back an awful calamity. Will they succeed or will they fall as old memories return?

Ah advent children... Your plot was so fucking stupid but holy shit if it wasn't bloody epic! Those girls are in for a world of hurt in all the senses of the word so let's hope at least one of them learn how to use white magic

He's a kid that used to live in Sector 7 of Midgar his parents (his Father worked for Shinra.) were killed when Shinra blew up the pillar for Sector 7 to destroy Avalanche (And blame Avalanche for it.) they sent him to their new home they were planning on moving to in Sector 5 with their butler who told him they would return when they didn't he went to look for them in his anger he broke the window of an old lady's house (Reeve Tuesti's mother Ruvie.) she took him in they huddled together during Meteorfall she later got Geostigma and died he was later found by a man taking care of a bunch of orphans who later died from geostigma Denzel later made an offensive comment about slum dwellers upsetting one of the kids ending up alone he wondered Sector 5 and found Cloud's motorbike near Aerith's church he tried using Cloud's phone to call Sector 7 with no luck on a whim he called Seventh Heaven Bar Tifa answered but Denzel hung up Tifa called the phone Denzel started crying and got geostigma Cloud came and found him passed out by the bike Tifa told him what she knew about the boy (which wasn't much.) and took Denzel to Seventh Heaven where he and Tifa lived and kinda took Denzel in.

Yeah. Just realized some of their first experience with humans overall, not to mention a total tonal shift.
Cloud kind of reminds me a bit more of Squall here then his usual self, but I do realize that he was kind of out of his funk around the time of Advent Children.
Was almost kind of hoping that one of them helped in the battle against Loz, but understand they were all with Cloud at the time. Also like the emphasis that Reno and Rude aren't all that bad.
Wouldn't mind more interactions with them and the main FF7 party, but at least they got to take part in thr fight, particularly with giving Cloud a boost.
Like how they get to take part in the fight here even though Sephiroth is very much out of their league. Also, One Winged Angel is iconic and all, but kind of strange that we don't have any other soundtrack inserts before now.
sweet interactions with the main party at the end. A shame that most of them only show up until around the end of the movie.
