This is actually very interesting and I love the concept, look forward to next chapter.
PS: I love the good ol human mind and it's tendency to creat fucked up shit and monsters (aka wendigos, xenomorphs, etc)
Now this, this is something I like.
Neat. I like how it skipped over the human panicking over being taken away and all that jazz because while yes they would probably panic and have a lot of questions, it’s also nice just getting to the meat of the story.
Using a chess like game seems fun as well! I wonder if they’ll play long enough for our human to start looking more “god-like” I.E. white bushy beard and toga

So far I'm very interested to see where this will go, the idea is unique and I haven't seen anything like it. I do want to know the rules of this game since it will give us a better grasp of just how it works. However, one thing I would like to see more of is banter between Faust and the human while they play.

Discord can move outside of time and space so of course he can move off the chessboard it makes perfect sense even though discord himself doesn't make any sense
