“Well, yeah, ” Scootaloo says, glancing to his blank flanks. “You don’t have your cutie mark yet, so it’s not like we have to worry. Besides, it’ll be fun!” She nuzzles Sweetie Belle, halfheartedly shaking her head. The unicorn gives a pathetic mewl, shuddering weakly. “I mean, you don’t have to if you don’t want to. Door’s right there. I’m sure we can figure something else out.”

Pfft, like any colt is gonna walk away from an opportunity to plow a filly; let alone three:rainbowlaugh:!

Contest judge leaving my thoughts.

To the point: it was pretty good.

It was only sullied by the fact I don't have the full context for the OC's, the special terminology, the history and background of the crusaders alternate lives... I understand this is an AU, but short of me going and reading additional material there's not much I can do about that. I'd expect the story to stand on its own. But aside from those few oddities I could more or less get over that.

The writing's nice, the dialogue feels pretty natural, the action beats and narrative move forward with a good pacing.

What about the incest itself?

Mnh... It was good, but also somewhat mitigated by my lack of context. I'm left partly unsatisfied.

I do give you credit for doing something a little more interesting with mare heat than the typical offerings I see on the subject. I mean it's not groundbreaking and the use of heat as a driving force for incest is... a little contrived... but since it remains a focus in the story, I can look past that. Mostly.

All in all, pretty nice. Thanks.
