Sapphire Sky didn't need to land on her feet after ETS, not after she gained a set of wings, and she took full advantage of them.
But months after humanity was saved from Sunset Shimmer’s plague and with the world having found an uneasy balance, she finds herself with time to take a vacation. Now that she has the means to do it, she decides to visit a friend she had only spoken with online out East.
Story takes place in August approximately two months before the events of Aftermath.

Very fun! I really like the dynamic between Will and Sapphire.
Sapphire has been appearing everywhere in the Pandemic stories lately. Hoping to finally find out what the big deal is about her. I get that she's powerful, but would like to know more.
One thing I've gotten about Sapphire so far from the different stories is she's got an ego the size of a blimp. "I'm perfect" notices a split end and goes into full panic mode.

That wasn’t exactly intended at first but I have been leaning into it as one of her character flaws that can get her into trouble.
I thought this was actually rather cute. Seeing things from different perspectives is fun.
Really enjoyed this from start to finish, it was fun to see this different perspective on the post ETS world. Excited to see whatever you work on next!

Going through a reread of all Pandemic stories at the moment. One thing I'm getting from Sapphire here is that she's pro-pony to the point of being a little egotistical about it. Especially when they're eating New York pizza and she complains in her head about there being no pony-grown ingredients.
