i have a question thou, how does this paintball tournament works? You say they use paintballs but then you say they have bullet cases? Are they using wood tipped bullets and blank firing adaptors, then using vest that detects if you are hit kinda system? At least we used that later one in the army.

They use paintballs with far thicker shells.
each individual paintball has its own casing with its own Co2 cartage.
The tanks use rounds that are realistically weighted and shaped these rounds fly at ridiculous velocity and as such are forbidden to be used against anything other than vehicles.
Tanks get a variety of shells for use against infantry, those being generally a mix between grapeshot or air burst.
And yes they wear a whole body glove that has pressure and vitals sensors. but generally the fancy body glove isn't usually required to tell if ones been hit, as their pained yell is usually sufficient.

And yes, the contestants wear protection against these rounds, said protection being thick padded clothing, as well as a steel helmet that protects the neck with a holographic visor that is made of laminated bullet proof glass.

Currently in an argument about how they wouldn't need to make real bullets (don't ask. its a long winded explanation) when they have paintball bullets that hurt a lot more then regular paintball rounds.

Uh, I missed this in previous chapter, but you used wrong plural form and right in the title. As we do spell it in English as 'Pegasus', a latin form, and it might be a naturalized noun, so plural forms are either latin 'pegasi' or english 'pegasuses'. Greek form would have different, probably pegasoi (singular is spelled 'pegasos' and assumed to be masculine). If you meant the genitive declension, it is spelled 'pegasae'. But I think, genitive is rarely used in english?

That being said, I apologize if my usage of the word 'Pegasai' as a plural for multiple pegasus' Irks you it's just the word me and my friend use when writing. It rolls off the tongue easier, and the fact that an i'm new to the fandom didn't help, Thus meaning i didn't know the plural for multiple pegasus'. But that doesn't excuse bad English.
I Will consult my friend and see to it his opinion. As in the next three stories we've wrote. This 'Error' is now common and was not noticed until now.

Apologies if i'm using profanity that may be a little too hardcore where its not needed. I'm Australian and we tend to butcher English, as well as use profanitys frequently. My town is conisdered a city now, but since we're once a country town, a typical greeting between friends is still: " Eyyyy! Jazza! Havnt' seen ya in ages c*nt! What have yew been upto ye' old bas**d!"
So to me English is English. Profanitys are just English too, you just dont use the latter in the presence of kids... less you find yourself dodgeing and evading crockery from their mother. XD

True about both statements.
The wallaroo's arnt just going to 'give' one of their people over to their percieved enemy. Let alone four of their best. Dingo armoured cars have a top speed of 84kmh on road. If the driver dosent care too much about replacing busted suspention componants or engineseals... so the Princesses are going to have fun with some armoured cars soon... on that note as well. The paintball vehicles are either restored or recreated to specification vehicles. And the crew modify them further if they wish. So each vehicle represents a significant investment. I doubt they'd destroy them. But they'd certainly send teams to get them back!

let hope the guys listened to the com's about the princess being on there side and the princess are not stupid enough to try and keep the humans and/or attack first if so we are going to have some very dead pony's before the end of this
And so the Path has been chosen, The Path of War and it's heralding Drums now beat at a steady pace! May what ever gods the Ponies Worship have mercy on their souls, as the Drums of war will have none. The path of Blood is one not easily broken, there will be a sea of blood before this ends.
The only choice now is how far this will go, will this be a war of Genocide or one of eventual peace I guess only time and action will tell.

I go for genocide. The Ponies are too jittery, their emotions like an explosion, they come in short overwhelming bursts high in intensity. They would make poor slaves, worse citizens and useless allies.
Kill them. For they declared war.

It would be Genocide on both fronts though, while The Humans have the better war tech they lack the Ponies Numbers and while SOME might join the Human's (mostly those ponies who are at the bottom of the pecking order) it's still a what? 1000 to 1?
The Human's MIGHT win if they get help from Equestria's Enemies (or if they found out what happened, Their Allies too) but it would be a pyrrhic victory at best.

As such, if they cannot appeal to Equestria's enemies then they should go for shaky peace.

The humans especially the mist cougars (german / australian) and the wallaroos (australian / mix of several nationalitys) deeply fear what the Equestrians are capable of... however they still hold hostages, so there is leverage against the princesses, lest they do anything to upset the humans furth- well... darn it, Princesses.
The humans want to give the Equestrians a good thrashing, but they themselves know their limits, they could be fighting some hikk viking village in the middle of nowhere, or by attacking they could declare war on this worlds soviet union. They dont know the ponies true numbers, and thats the only
True thing preventing them from launching an attack againt the ponies.

kinda reminds me about what historically happened at year 1900 when eleven nations citizens and soldiers were trapped in peking when boxer rebellion happened. Chinese peasants attacked and killed thous from western world, Chinese government did nothing to stop it because they saw it as opportunity free them self from western powers grip. For 55 days mere 435 men defended their embassy against thousands of rebels, until western relieve force manage to fight their way thru the city.
