Man, that love (or magic) must be pretty strong if it allowed Luke to stand up for Fleur even after that incident.
Batpony guardsmare with a thick Castilian accent?
Lovely to see you, Señora Purenza.
These are some quality horse words
So... he's getting his car back right?
Damn, Leave it to Luna to show respect by bringing a battalion straight to fluers doorstep
Nice
Well I'm definitely looking forward to what comes next. Though I do wish there was a picture of the damaged moon. It's something I'd like to see...
Yay, update!
11122300
Of course. One piece at a time.
11122381
One piece...at a time?
Wait, did they actually have some sort of punishment planned or was this the plan?
Does this mean what I think it means? He is Immortal? So what does that make him? From my understanding, Immortals in Equestria are considered Royalty just due to their rarity, then add on he is the only Human on the planet, and Fleur is TECHNICALLY a Princess?
That also bring me up the question of children, can they have them naturally? If not can Magic assist them? Has the magic of Equestria effected Luke who came from a world that at best has limited magic?
So many questions!!
And there it is!
Glad to have an update for this story.
Brooo, do anything else but not the caaaaar! Sides' how is he going to get gas when it runs out.
awesome chapter.
i hope Discord set the care up so it never runs out of fuel or needs repairs as it sure looks like Luke is going to be sticking around for the long hall.
I mean...I was under the impression that the car fell at least 100 feet to Canterlot. Did I miss something that allowed it to escape any damage? Or will that be a result of its Chaosness?
11122482
Or just Fleur being very, very good at compensating for unwanted velocities with magic...
I do believe Luke has discovered the feeling of being scaroused.
11122482
this is discord you talking about its better to not question it
Glad to see the Luke has firmly made his choice. He sealed it by confirming it to both Luna and Celestia.
It's also nice to see how Luke is starting to understand "his connections" with the siren.
"Where's my car?!"
11122272
Don't forget about the burly, bronze encased pegasus with a southern accent.
Hi Sparkshower!
I hope next chapter will come out soon. This one ends too abruptly.
I can not wait for more!!!! So excited!!!
11122436
Magic.
wait, they didn't actually deliver the foot slap
Brasil. O.o
11122393
Well, they have to be thorough, right? And disassembling the vehicle seems like a very thorough manner of inspecting it.
11122954
So he's going to have to reassemble it?
11122954
If they have any sense at all, which they likely won't, they'll record where each part came from in an extensive diagram.
Best way to reverse engineer stuff or put it back together.
Well I think I can see where the next chapter is going with that last comment from Celestia.
Cant wait to see Lukes reaction once he finds out what Fleur did to Discord.
Oh thank goodness, i thought this might've died. Im glad to be proven wrong and keep up the great work!
Part of me feels that Luke just got suckered. But I don't think he really cares.
Honestly I can't wait for the cute romance stuff. Bring it on.
*Celestia calls Fleur over to where her, Luna, and Luke are standing*
Celestia glares down at Fleur.
Fleur looks up at the princess, ears low in shame.
"Hold out your hoof." Celestia sternly instructs the siren, eyes narrowed. Fleur flinches, and slowly raises her right foreleg , her ears perking up slightly in curiosity.
With as much solemnity as was possible, Celestia raised her own hoof, and slowly laid it on top of Fleur's with a *tink*.
"Bad pony. Bad." the solar princess intoned, shaking her head. With that, she turned and walked away, with the siren left staring at the 'slapped' hoof and not quite knowing what to make of the situation.
This part I'm not so sure about. We're writing off the Royal Sisters as essentially minor side-characters in the grand scheme of the world next to a single Siren. Which apparently used to be a whole species. There were at LEAST three more, and they got sent to the time-out box by Starswirl of all ponies, who was just a normal unicorn. Clever, sure, strong for one, sure. But he wasn't a divine entity.
Fleur is a bit too strong for the power scale if the nigh-on deific alicorns responsible for all life on the planet couldn't take her down between the two of them. She has no foils so far, it seems. In which case, she can do literally anything she wants. Checks and balances. Punishments only work when handed down by someone with the direct strength, or authority to wield power enough to actually enforce them against the rule-breaker's will and own strength.
... That said, the Dawnmother is the best wingmare.
Just found this, and already fucking love it. Scared of the hiatuses (plural?), though...
Alright, the Balverine comment makes me feel like I was correct, this does have heavy Fable influences.
11125268
I was wondering if you would spot this.
I am so unbelievably happy to see this continue and will be checking in every day for the next chapter. The French making me google translate every now and then is kind of a fun game trying to guess what it’s going to say. Please keep this going C:
11125317
So I was right, with mentions of the "old kingdom" abd the shard, I was pretty sure thats what you were going with, but this basically confirms it
Give the man his car back!!! How rude
11122415
Is the immortal Discord royalty? Well, he's certainly a royal pain in the arse but not worthy of a crown. Power (to take it) and who your parents were (the less violent option) tend to signify royalty. Just being a siren's special somepony wouldn't do it. Marrying into royalty, or whatever titles she has, would work. Humans were doing that all the time a few hundred years ago. A regular game of thrones it was.
11127296
Well I mean Discord is the LORD of Chaos, that technically makes him High Nobility and then add into the fact he is the Rulers of his own realm….
11125268
God I loved Fable. Back on the original xbox, it was fucking sick.

I'm feeling the same way. This continues to be my favourite story, but I'm starting to see DBZ styles of power levels coming from her right now. Alicorns, beings who literally move celestial bodies, are saying "if we wanted to punish her and she says 'no', there's literally nothing we can do". It's a good story and I like both Fleur and Luke's personalities, but the massive power Fleur has and her unmatched capabilities is honestly starting to make things boring. If she's punished, it's because she humbly chooses to accept it. If she gets angry enough, she can damage the surface of the moon. She has no equals, and I can only hope that the story is building up to Luke being her foil - not in terms of sheer power, but the influence he (as her fated lover) would have over her. But if the moon thing was just there to show off how powerful she is, then my interest will drop so fast I'll be able to hear it; invincible characters are straight up boring.
I don't think anything will be able to hurt her (save for one mysterious and convenient artifact that the villain will inevitably break out), but if the story doesn't end up going deeper than "big powerful siren, biggest most powerful character literally ever", then I foresee a lot of plot elements that boil down to "silly weak ponies try to start shit with Luke, and then Fleur comes in and wrecks their shit", or "silly weak ponies try to kidnap Luke, and then Fleur comes in and wrecks their shit". Or "silly weak powerless puny sun/moon goddesses do/say something to jeopardize Luke's relationship with Fleur, and then Fleur comes in and wr-" you can guess the rest.
I'd honestly love to see some more scenes of them just hanging out and learning about each other as normal people; preferably ones that don't end with Fleur scaring the shit out of Luke. I've read through this a couple times, and it feels like each step Luke takes is made with hesitation and trepidation - there isn't much in the ways of Luke doing what he wants to do. He doesn't feel like he DOESN'T want to do it, but he comes off as almost indulging in a sense of obligation. It would be cool to see Luke learn about Fleur the pony; favourite books, things she does for fun, whatever - rather than Fleur the siren; terrifying ocean-demon possessing a mare who can beat the shit out of a literal god of chaos to the point of damaging the moon.
I hope this comment doesn't come across as me taking a steaming dump on the story. It really is one of my favourite stories here on fimfic, but (at least to me) it kind of feels like the last couple of chapters have too much emphasis is being put on how big and strong and scary Fleur is, rather than giving Luke a reason to go along with things. Without limitations, there is no sense of danger. I'm sincerely glad this story came back from the dead, and nothing would make me happier than if it turned out I just suck at interpreting the direction a story is going.
Love the update!
Did not know Celestia had an interest in South America 🤔

In this setting, the planet is named Equador, I believe.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, this is a solid bloody story. It has quickly become one of my favourites, looking forward to the next update as always!
