Excuse my language.
Fuck that.
I'd see the Enclave burn before anything of the sort. At least, the selfish, unempathetic ones.
Points for honesty...
Finally! An Enclave soldier with some kind of moral compass.
Still curious as to the “incident” Sunset used for cover.
9691117
Sadly it was just a cover so the soldiers didn't read too much into the conversation she was having with Becky, and that was the first thing that came to mind. What that says about her mental state is up for interpretation...
Oh, look, its Flash. I'm surprised you didn't call him Brad
9691467
Damn, I forgot about that. I missed an opportunity there
9691484
I doubt anyone would mind a retcon, so long as you let people know in the next author's notes.
9691487
Nah, I'll stick with Vincent for now, or I'll probably end up confusing myself too. I can always use it in a different fic or in one of the spin-offs/sequels if I decide to do them.
9691490
You could always call him Vincent Bradley Thompson.
9691558
you mad genius!
9691561
Genius, yes.
Mad, especially so
Appalachia huh? Interesting
Especially since I just started playing 76 about a week or two ago.
Interesting developments at the end. I forget was this at Raven Rock or some Enclve outpost? Cause if it was just an outpost then my theory about Adam getting captured and brought there was more than a bust and silly.
Also for an who might be on Fallout 76 do you have any suggestions about how to craft better or at least higher level weapons/armor? I'm at level 18 and have level 10 leather armor.
If any one has suggestions I'm open to them.
And sorry for putting a non-story related subject on a comment.
Nevermind about where they are
I just read about where they were stationed
It’s nice to see some (sort-of) Sunset-Flash interaction. They’re probably my favorite ship in EG, even though Becky and Vincent clearly aren’t a thing anymore. I can only wonder what the real Sunset might think if or when she sees this guy.
9690987
I mean, would you rather the Enclave burn and have the rest of the Wasteland continue to suffer, except with clear water sometimes? Plus, if the Enclave rebuilding in Equestria that could actually mean a haven for people to live in relative prosperity away from the savagery of the wasteland.
Bethesda does kind of write them as unsympathetic dehumanized faceless enemies. Their only humanizing moment is the mess hall with the forks.
9692507
My suggestion: please stop giving Bethesda money they don't deserve it. Refund.

Good chapter overall. moar
9693139
Eh, wish I could but I'm actually enjoying it so far. But I get where you're coming from
9693147
See, the problem with that is that they'd likely lead with trying to wipe out the "competition" rather than coexist and find a nicely uninhabited stretch of land to settle in. Remember, the entirety of their leadership stems from those who chose to solve their world's problems with nuclear ordnance.
9693212
You may have got the wrong person
9693214
So I did. Apologies, the internet's being a bit, squirrely.
9693220
I believe it.
That's pretty much what the internet is.
9693139
I probably should have stressed the last sentence more clearly.
That's not the point I'm trying to make, though. The Enclave, as far as I can guess, will be a bad thing for the EqG world and Equestria. With its current government, they won't give a damn about permission and all that 'trivial' stuff, and I highly doubt they intend on being compliant.
Oh, and for what it's worth, the protagonists have the same idea.
Venerable Ro down there says this:
9693139
The Enclave are Randian economics mixed with eugenics. These are the people largely to blame for why the nukes flew during the Great War, they cordoned themselves off from the rest of the world, made possible because they're entire population is composed of the "elites" of society (politicians, military, big businesses) and twice tried to wipe out the entire population of the Wasteland because of it not being "pure" due to the potential radiation damage. Radiation damage due to the very war they themselves exacerbated. Not to mention that they were indirectly responsible for the test Vaults; subjecting an unaware populace to inhumane experimentation solely due to the morals of society being lifted due to isolation.
Aside from the select morally sound members, the Enclave would be better off gone.
9693212
Its unknown who started the Great War by launching the nukes. The Chinese invaded Alaska.
9693240
It depends who you mean by 'current government'. If you mean Eden, yeah. Colonel Autumn, though, is a lot more diplomatic in a sense. Eden would be totally uncompliant and probably lead a campaign of extermination. But, Autumn, is more practical and would understand that working WITH the EqG government and Equestria would be a good idea to ultimately fulfill his plan of bring civilization and stability to the wasteland and restoring the U.S.
The Enclave are the only ones with the resources to actually bring civilization to the wasteland. In Broken Steel, the Brotherhood are inept and spend resources and manpower on providing water to everyone with no caveats. This leads to con artists and cultists to use the water for their own gain.
9693274
okay,
1. In Fallout 3, only Eden is the one with Eugenics. And he's not the true leader of the Enclave. Autumn is. And Autumn does not want to exterminate the wastelands nor does he view them as inferior.
2. Its unknown who started the Great War by firing nukes, and the Chinese invaded Alaska first. How did the Enclave start it?
3. I'll give you that on the vaults. The Enclave in fallout 2 and if it was actually under Eden would meet what you say, but the current Enclave (under autumn) does not.
9694538
Autumn? The guy who just decided to blitz a complex full of unarmed scientists and lost both the facility and the head researcher for his trouble? That Colonel Autumn? If he's the Enclave's best man, that doesn't exactly inspire much confidence.
This is so unnecessary. If I remember correctly, there’s the Rainbooms, Starlight and Discord, team pony Equestria, team human Canterlot, Adam and the Brotherhood of Steel, the Enclave, the Trixie and Twilight of this world who work for the Enclave but are actually good, the Sirens and whoever they’re working with, Project Purity, magically messed up machines, cyborg research, super diseases, the church of the apocalypse and the usual wasteland monsters like super mutants.
9694790
Is that a bad thing?
9694553
I mean, he did seize the facility. He couldn't have predicted James sacrificing himself, and he is the one who actually controls the Enclave.
The reason I rely on him so much is because his plan will actually benefit the wasteland.
Autumn wanted to seize the purifier so that he could get it working and distribute free water to the wasteland with the caveat of being under the Enclave's leadership (re: him) in exchange. He wanted to unite all the settlements of the Capital Wasteland so that he could form an organized and capable society. From there, he wanted to wipe out all the super mutants, raiders, feral ghouls, etc. Then, he wanted to use the capital wasteland as a springboard to which he could use to assimilate the rest of the U.S. and essentially re-form the government. Without any genocide or extermination of people.
9694809
Other than team Rainboom, does any of it matter?
Seriously. I'm flew through the latest 10 chapters and all I got out of it was: Enclave = bad, Starlight and Discord go dimension hopping and I think the author wants me to give a damn about FalloutTrixie and FalloutTwilight just because they saw their MLP counterpart's memories?
9694826
Well for one thing it helps to make the story feel like a single narrative set in a larger, ongoing world, as opposed to a play put on in front of a few bits of painted backdrop. A pre-established setting allows for a much more flexible story, and gives the tale that extra bit of verisimilitude that really makes stores like this blossom.
9694826
The Rainbooms' journey is definitely the main story, but the side plots (such as what's going on with Fallout!Twilight and Fallout!Sunset) are all either going to impact the Rainbooms in a big way, or are setting up/foreshadowing future events.
9694815
Except of course, for anyone who refuses his magnanimous rule. Can't have dissent, why that would be downright unpatriotic!
Having never touched any of the games, this man seems like the type that believes that power flows from the barrel of a gun. Power and a ruthless leader do not make for a good societal foundation, just look at what happened to the empires of rulers like Alexander or Attila. The moment they died things started to crumble.
If he were a capable diplomat or a charismatic leader he might be able to get some traction going, but the fact that he seems set on subduing the other local factions rather than bringing them to a common accord bodes ill.
And so we see Flash Sentry's FO counterpart, and he's still a nice guy but a bit sharper because let's face it everyone in the FOverse has to be. I'm glad to see him represented well, many seem to have never forgiven him for trying to steal their waifu. But you seem to have treated him fairly.
Also an assualtron is no joke, even in full power armor those things can wreck you. Especially if it's one of the models with built in optical camouflage as the only warning you get is a build up of light before they fire a freakin' death ray at you.
10044841
Yeah. Asualtrons are hell.
10082282
sentry's better for causing hell and choas Discord approved
Stealth mission, darn if only they had. Stealth boys
“Again?” Did that happen before or after Becky stated dating Tara?
Me, from the future: *deep breath in*
FUCK YOU, DOCTOR TURNER!!!!!!
Now I'm thinking that at some point one of them will end up being exposed to non-negligible amounts of radiation, it will either be extremely interesting or literal hell
Teenage mutant magical girls
It's going to be shit
