I'm trying to remember, was this the part where the Brotherhood was fighting against the supermutants or was that later?

That was a little later, in the d.c. ruins.
The magic is stupid it is like their are playing the game on easy mode with cheats.
Also I hate how people are taking them saying it is magic at face value.
Calling something magic is basicly saying that they do not have any understanding of it and do not want to try to.
the fact they are refraining form using magic as much is what makes this entertaining
Kneel to the new overlords of the Capital Wasteland!
Oh-oh. I've just realized that their karma is really good. You know what that means?

I see where you're coming from, but so far the only people they've really used their magic against are a frightened old man and a pair of mirelurks which, while formidable, are still just beasts. Using magic against guns? Doesn't go so well, as Rainbow has already proved.
As for taking magic at face value, again, frightened old man. And James, woops, I probably didn't do such a good job at explaining that one. I tried to imply in an earlier chapter that they'd been doing experiments in the vault, but I should probably go into more detail at some point.
Damn it the cliff hanging is real...
1.The way I was imagining it, Applejack looked like a total badass.
2. With all of these powers, the Wasteland has nothing on them.
Aw, jeeze. I don't AJ to become a supermutant.
“Don’t be ridiculous it’s not a plasma…..” Sunset stiffened as she realized that was exactly what it was. “Rainbow? How about you keep this?” she said shakily.
“Awesome!” Rainbow gingerly took the grenade back from Sunset, slipping it carefully into one of her pack’s side pockets.
You just gave Rainbow Dash a nuclear bomb.
Applejacks power is not that useful in the wastelands since.
1) As she does not naturaly have magic like an earth pony she has to activate her powers meaning that before she does she is normal.
2) Pain and drugs could stop her from concentrating enough to use her powers.
3) If she ever wants to do something over a distance she has to find something to throw and lob it while her enemy just has to pull a trigger.
PS I kind of want rarity to get injured because she is cock about her powers.
Also if they do not want to tell everyone that they are aliens they will have to stop deniing that they are mutants.
Also I can not wait for the wastelanders to show them that they are in over their heads.
Their magical abilities are only effective due to surprise.
Rarities shields only block in one direction if they shoot at them from the side or behind they will get them.
Rainbowdash can get in close to the enemy but it does not give her fast reflexes so if she fought someone she would lose.
Applejack has the strength of a supermutant but none of the durability.
Rain huh
Looking back and thinking about it. That was something I wish they had added originally to the game cause it would added some real neat affects while roaming around. It was definitely cool when I saw it in Fallout 4. Speaking of that will you be doing a sequel to this story, where the girls end up in the commonwealth or in this story? Or not at all

I have a couple of sequel ideas lined up actually. I won't say anything about them yet though as I don't want to give away the direction the story is going.
Either way I'm going to leave a couple of sequel hooks at the end of the fic that will work whether the girls are present or not.
Plus this is going to be an even longer fic than I'd originally planned, so things may change between now and when I actually start writing a sequel.
Imagine them with power armor
The girls will find it easier if they just say they have a mutation to their pigments. Also psychic powers actually exist in fallout so they could pass off some their abilities as that.
So first proper kill by the girls are some mirelurks. Well that's like a 2/10 on the scale but I suppose it's a good way to break the girls in. And Fluttershy learns that her animal diplomacy doesn't work when faced with hungry predators
Also AJ putting that super strength to use as both comic relief and and a combat asset.
I'm dying. Somebrony call 911. I can't breathe. XD
And you, my dear, have never played Magic: The Gathering. Horseshoe crabs are annoyingly aggressive, especially when their summoner counterspells everything you throw at them.
Chapter 11 - Just A Simple Delivery
*insane luaghter* In the wasteland there is no such thing as an simple delivery, the carrier can contest to that.
Oh your learning how the wasteland loves to f**ked with you.
Error
Applejack's restless now?
.... Have I got news for her.
Now that is a solid countryism.
The girls are gonna have to get over their squeamishness with guns and get an upgrade! Fluttershy and Sunset don't have as much offensive power as Rarity, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie. And I kinda think Rainbow needs a melee weapon at least. Super speed is good and all till you remember that you're still squishy.
Who thought this was a good idea?
How long until she starts doing this in raiders?

That was over five years ago, I wonder how much the sequel plans have changed after over 700k words
Savvy words, Sunset.
