Are we about to be introduced to a certain group of furry mutants of questionable canonicity?
I've been wanting the girls to see that part of the Capital Wasteland. To meet Harold, one of the nicest ghouls you'll ever meet. I really hope Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy are there to meet him, his kind nature and comical personality would do them wonders. After all he's been through so much, seen so much suffering and so much good and is not exactly in the best state to be in. And yet...he still a really good person.
Admittedly his desire to die sucks but maybe magic got to him too and it gave him a few boons to help him not hate being rooted to one place.
So Turner is going to be part of the remnants or what?
Are they going to meet Dogmeat?
Dire forebodings.
Oh no, I have a REALLY bad feeling about this. No way are they getting home so soon. I wish they would though, things are getting bad for them. I wonder how long until Pinkie Pie figures out that humans have sugar in their blood?
And you better not kill anyone.

Well depends on your term of Remnants. New Vegas Remnants were kinda like the new Enclave
10825902
Yeah, thats what i meant. They'll be a splinter faction
10825911
Well, probably will be a splinter faction that wants power.
10825922
You kind of have to preemptively shoot first to get enough time to save him. Burke has a surprising amount of health.
10825929
Ah, that makes sense
Okay. Two wisps falling into the blood. Best case scenario, it represents falling into darkness or something like that. If it means two characters will die, it doesn't necessarily mean two of the Rainbooms, since Poplar saw more than just seven wisps. It could be Michaels and Turner at best, or Tara and Becky at worst.
look point out here we come
Well, that ending isn't ominous at all...

Throughout this story, the girls have infected this world with their magic, and this world has infected the girls with its influence. When the portal is finally completed and they are preparing to go back through it, I almost expected a moment like in Fallout: Dust when you approach the Verti-Bird in Camp McCarran.

Psst, the wisps represent the Rainbooms and their counterparts
10829568
I'll choose to believe that face is for the blood sugar exploding part, and not the character death part. I refuse to accept anything else.

The future has yet to be set in stone, it is possible that the future could be changed before any element barriers bite the bullet. Let us see what the future holds in store for our heroines.
10835564
I hope you’re right. From what we’ve seen from these visions, though, the future seems pretty set.
10835791
Even if some of the elements dies, that does not mean that they won’t be revived. I do remember that there is a object that is more than capable of doing such things that is mentioned a few chapters back.
10835900
The question is, does Vess’ geode bring you all the way back or...not all the way back?
10836000
Now that is the question of the century, let us see what happens next.
Are two of the Rainbooms.... going to die ?
Stockholm is starting to become an adorable meme at this point. X3
I really hope you aren't planning to get super existentialist about this story. I came here for the Rainbooms in Fallout, not for Bioshock Infinite WTF-ery. If you are insistent on going that route, I might recommend ending Fallout Girls at a checkpoint of sorts and branching the bigger stuff into a sequel or spinoff.
You do you in the end, of course. I'm just really tired of finding nice big epic tales like this and having them turn into wars for heaven instead of just having a nice ending where everybody makes it home and celebrates with cake while they work out therapy stuff.
10829568
Hmmmm........ Rainbow and Rarity. That's my bet. Rainbow hasn't fallen to any new lows yet (though that is most definitely subject to change), and Rarity is the same. Unless something drastic happens, Misfortune is bound to find them and overcompensate.
Just my opinion, though.
(Unless it's the counterparts, then...... Rainbow and Lightning?)
Well that's not good.

The war in heaven thing has been teased for a long time.
11246743
No it hasn't. A war in Fallout, possibly between Fallout and Equestria, yes, but not a holy war. A holy war is something else entirely.
As for why I didn't like that part of the story, that bit was so irrelevant to the rest of the story that those characters and the wisps haven't been mentioned before or since, and I completely forget that scene even happened until you replied to my comment just now. It was completely unnecessary, and unless the author plans to write a spinoff story about all that, I feel like it's got no reason to be there at all. We don't need mysterious hints from previously-unseen gods that shit's gonna go down with more of our characters. The story has already made that pretty clear on its own.
