Chapter 1: what did I do?

"Crap crap crap run run run" I thought to myself as I ran through a field of stitched fabric trying to get away from a hord of bunnys with giraffe legs...what don't look at me like that I have no idea what is going on.

Anyway you can call me scourge and....well...I'm a displaced guess you've heared my kind of story before, some sorry sucker hose to a convention, meets some creepy merchant dude who sells them some cool nerd stuff for a low price, and then whisks them away to another universe as whoever they were dressed as, and I just so happened to be one of the lucky ones to meet the corps faced goul known as the merchant, and if your wondering what fate had in-store for me I'll tell you, I got displaced as scourge the hedgehog from the sonic the hedgehog comics.

Anyway back to the problem at hand...what was it again...oh right "aaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!" I screamed as I put on another burst of speed to try and get away from the freaks of nature behind me but they somehow the managed to keep up with me which made no sense.

"Oh what fun is there in making sense" I had been hearing those words as if they were being whispered in my ear ever since I got to this abstract artist depiction of a reality but really I'm in the body of sonic the hedgehogs evil doppelganger how are some freakish mutations keeping up with me it makes no god da-

I was abruptly knocked out of my thoughts and off my feet as I was knocked to ground by one of the bunny giraffes as the others formed a ring around me as they stamped the ground preparing to charge me....oh by the way, do you want to know what I got from the merchant?

"Hope to Christ this works" I said to mysef as I closed my eyes and focus causing multiple small green gems to circle me as the creatures all charge me at once but just as they can reach me I let out a scream before an explosion of purple light erupts from my body causing all the creatures to backaway and some of them even running in fear.

"Ha Ha ha ha all hail the king baby" I laughed almost madly as the light faded revealing my body now being purple instead of green, my eyes had blacked out and my pupils had becom red since I was now in my super form.

Before any of the bunny things could react I shot up into the air and boosted off in a random direction with an aura of purple surrounding me when I broke the sound barrier, I have just one thing to say.

"This is awsome!!!" I yelled as I flew over the...um...ok I have no idea what's happening below me, the ground looked like it had been stiched together, all the animals I could see were freaky and mismatched with other animals, there were floating buildings......wait buildings.

I stop moving dead in my tracks and turn around and see that I had just flew over what looked like what use to be a town but it was hard to tell with all crazy going on, but seeing that nowhear else seemed to have any buildings I might as well see if there is any semblance of a civilised community, and with that I boosted towards the town

"now here we are" I say to myself as I reach the town...I meam it's kind of a town, it has building's...floating buildings...ok so it's a odd town..... Surreal town..... Chaotic town....or how about di-

"Somepony help me please!!!" I was pulled away from my pondering at the sound of what sounded like a child's scream, after realising the scream came from further in the town I boosted myself forward only to find yet another mismatched creature sitting on a floating throne but this one seemed different somehow.

"Oh calm down don't you think your being a tad over dramatic" and so it speaks that's new...wait who is he talking to, that's when I notice it's holding what appeared to be a tiny horse with a orange coat and blue mane and it was...crying?

"P-Please" I heard the tiny pony sob quietly and hearing that got my blood boiling "hey freak show!" I yell as I acend to the same level as the floating throne with a glare plastered on my face.

"You call-" as the abomination of nature turned to look at me he stopped talking dead in his tracks and looked me over before stroking his white beared with what appeared to be a egals arm while he held the...unicorn in his other hand which looked to be a lion's paw.

"Hmm I don't recall thinking you up" the freak said while a sadistic smile grew on his face as he dropped the unicorn from his floating position and that pony fell like a rock.

"No!" I yell as I boost myself forward at blinding speed inorder to catch the small unicorn before it became a red splat on the ground.

"Interesting" said....ok I really need to think of a name for this guy, how about crazy limbs...weird wells...Discord...yeah Discord sounds good.

"Interesting" said Discord as I grabed the unicorn out of the air and placed her, I'm assuming it's a her at least, on the ground "leave now" I say prompting the unicorn to scurry off.

"Well if you insists" Discord said getting up from his throne and snapping his fingers and with a small white flash a hat appeared on his head along with a briefcase appearing in his right hand "ta-ta" he Said as he snapped his fingers again making a door appear floating in mid air not to far from him.

"Hey!" I yell as I make a sweaping motion with my right arm firing a purple energy blast similar to 'chaos spear' at the door compleatly oblitarating it, "I have questions for you" I said pointing at him.

"Ho you think your in a position to make demands of me Discord sprit of chaos and disharmony" he replied while floating to the ground "Well I got his name right" I thought as I started taking steps towards him.

"I don't care who you are or what your title is your going to tell me whats going on in this....i don't even know what to call this" I said stretching my arms out gesturing to...well pretty much everything.

"Ah ah ah not so fast" Discord said snapping his fingers causing black vines to erupt from the ground and curl around my body to hold me in place, after looking over myself and the vines I looked back to discord who had a smug grin on his face, I just give him a deadpan look "seriously"

"W-w-what?!?" Discord stammered as I simply walked towards him completely unaffected by the vines "you just don't get it do you I'm super Scourge I could spin dash this world in two if I wanted" I said but got confused when discord put his lion paw to his chin "hmm super .....an ecended state eh?" Discord said whitch only confused me and caused me to tilt my hed.

"What are you" I mumbled to myself confused until realisation hit me like a train full of flaming monkey's, I burst forward surrounded by a purple aura determined to knock the wind out of him before he could do anything, but right as I and about plow right into him stone statues of Discord burst from the ground around me and form a ring of light holding me in place, as I strugel against the ring of energy small clouds form above the statues and five purple lightning at me.

"AAAAAHHHHHH!!!" I scream out as the lightning surged thruought my body, I managed to fix Discord with a glare before I feel the Anarchy Beryl I used to transform being ripped from my body causing me to revert back to my regular self, as the energy from the statues stoped I floped to the ground compleatly drained, the last thing I see before passing out is the Anarchy Beryl shattering on the ground.

When I woke up due to the feeling of being spun around I found my body covered in chains holding me to the back of Discords floating throne and I could hear him talking to....what sounded like two women, streching as far as I could given my bound and drained state so I could see around throne.

"Oh hold on just one moment" I heard discord say and before I could even react an extra set of chains wrap around my body compleatly constricting my movements as I was forced to just to stay there motionless.

Just as a micro atom of my strength was starting to return to me I heard what can only be described as an 'orbital friendship canon' when a sudden wave of rainbow light washed over me and when I looked down I could see myself turning to stone...well poop.

When I had compleatly turned to stone the chains around my body suddenly disappeared and I fell to the ground noticing that the land around me looked more normal with nonfloating buildings and green fields.

"Take theas two to the castle dungons" I heard female a voice from behind me say "wait two?....dose she mean Discord and ....me?" I thought as a pair of white unicorns in golden armour hoisted me onto their backs and started walking off with me.

"No stop halt seice and disist what did I even do?" I tryed to scream out but couldn't through my stone prison.

HHhhmmmm I kind of hoped it would be Scourge in Equestria and not
Human turned Scourge in Equestria (Displaced), not because I dislike displaced, but because there is much that can be done wrong.

Well I'm going to read it later or tomorrow, I just hope there are not to many crossovers after another or to soon and that they are not used to cheat trough every hard fight the character has to win.

.....YYooouuuuuch, You might want to find an editor first, rewrite the chapter with editer or co-author, then reupload. At the moment due to the first chapter leaving a VERY bad impression, that thumb down ratio is going to be big if chapter 1 remains unchanged, no offense.

Now that sounds a bit stronger than I think it's supposed to be.

IT's also slightly strange that he is now OP when he could hardly help himself in his normal form by the looks of it.

Now just a questions as to how the elements are supposed to work. Is he an evil guy or not?, because I only remeember a theory from a story, that the elements have different effects on different beings. Then I heard that the elements are unpredictable and stuff like that, not sure what you used, since I believe the show didn't even tried to explain it.

Well....somehow I'm dissapointed that it'S the turned to stone thing again or that Discord suddenly had a sudden move to take him out. Not saying it can't happen, but sometimes if the characters act so tough, it can be dissapointing to see them suddenly lose.

Well when I noticed it was the scene where Twiligt was fighting Discord, I got really interessted in the story since I believe it has to be their and hopefully Scourge and Celestias first meeting too. (I hate it if she alrady knows everything all the time too, wouldn'T hurt for her to get suprised once in a while too.)
However I guess that is why I was so dissapointed that it ended with Scourge being turned to stone. Wait......that could also mean it was the fight Luna and Celestia against Discord.

Well for some reason I hope it's not just them hating Scourge because of no reason again.

While I hope that Scourge has a part of his comic personality while not being to much the Villain he is, I also want him to be....well the human he was, otherwise there would be no point into letting a human change into Scourge only to make the human act like Scourge, an character he could have been right away.

I give it a chance, but till now it's not really good and not really bad.

This is poorly written, makes no sense and is overall your average Displaced fic.

I'm not even surprised at this point, honestly. More surprised that you managed to tick every cliche in the book in the first chapter. So here's my advice.

Ditch this entirely. Displaced is not a good genre of fimfic. It's oversaturated, generic to the point of every trope involved in this first chapter being predictable and is just plain bad to people outside of the Displaced fandom who have any semblance of a critical eye.

Failing that, get an editor. Sweet dear Celestia, this needs an editor just to scrape through all the spelling mistakes, not to mention all the less than obvious things people might not pick up on due to said spelling mistakes assaulting them.

Failing that, just like proofread the damn thing before you publish it next time. Go over it, enunciate the sentences, see if it makes sense. Hell, use Google to spell words if you're really stuck, that's what I do.

Not a promising start is all I'm saying.

Not the worst story I've read, but definitely not perfect either. Some edits on the grammar, some spelling, and punctuation, and you should be pretty good. I'll be sure to keep an eye on this story to see how it goes. Also, it's most definitely not terrible for your first story.

oh okay, I guess that was what happened after his transformation right, something he said I mean.
Well I guess I was just suprised that at first he was running away like a bunny could hurt him or whatever that was that Discord created and with his transformation he was suddenly stronger than everything else or he thought.

edit: I hope I remember the right things in the right story right now.

This is an ok first story but there are problems obviously present. Don’t worry much though, you’ll only get better the more you read and write. Too bad people will downvote this just because it’s a Sonic Displaced. I was actually brainstorming on doing a Scourge Displaced story. Before that, I had planned to To a Buddy The Wolf Displaced (Sonic Forces), Chaos Displaced (Sonic Adventure), Knuckles Displaced (Sonic 3 &Knuckles), and a Classic Sonic Displaced (Sonic Mania) but eventually just went for a regular Modern Sonic Displaced. I hope someone reads this comment and gets inspired to write one of these good.
