Princess Twilight Sparkle, Spike, Nyx and Joshua were surprised when two mysterious creatures that fell out of some kind of portal in the Castle of Friendship's thrown room. Joshua recognized one of the two creatures, and said that he has come across him back on Joshua's home world. These two creatures were from the Sonic the Hedgehog series, but one of them is fan made.
Nyx was created by Pen Stroke, and Joshua was created by jkreader.

Actually, Equestria was in the future of Mobius, the home world of Sonic the Hedgehog. Joshua's World, Earth, was destroyed by a piece of history that repeated itself. There's a difference between travelling through space and travelling through time.
