But I feel like you should make a longer story. Like have them actually become a couple. Like when Twilight moves to Ponyville, have them continue where they left off. Go on a couple of dates. Expand upon the romance and them as a couple

I definitely see some possibilities, I could write stuff about them meeting in Ponyville or how the relationship was going during the show or everything up until Amending Fences and after that. But knowing myself, I'd just make it sad. I could do something with it, when I decide to do another Lyra-Bon Bon Scooby Doo mystery, but I don't feel like putting shipping into non-romantic stories.

I don't know, I never planned to go further with this. It's not like I don't do stuff without planning, but everything that comes to my mind is just sad. I really just wanted to promote an obscure ship.

But we'll see what I come up with in the future. Since you're interested, I'll tell you when I decide to do something.
