There's plenty of food in their forest habitat, so there's no need to them to deceive her. Plus I like to think animals have nothing to hide. They usually only communicate with their own kind, and their own kind never have any agenda that isn't also their own, so there's no place for cloak and dagger in the non-sapient animal kingdom. Add that to the fact that Fluttershy can understand and be understood by the Star Spiders, and you have a pretty air tight package of security.

...No pun intended, of course. Though that does raise the question. Since the cocoons spiders weave around their prey are air tight by design to preserve the prey, wouldn't that make Fluttershy's bondage here closer to an egg sack? ...You know, unless those are air tight too. In which case how is Fluttershy safe? If it's ingrained in their instincts to weave air tight cocoons, how is this feasible?

...I think my skull almost became a brazen bull for my brain. I was thinking too hard and I smelled copper. This is why we don't deconstruct porn, people. Let it be a lesson I learned the hard way so you don't have to.

Pretty neat

I wanna see a sequel where Dash gets wrapped. I haven't seen any fics of Dash being wrapped without it ending fatally, which is a bit of a turn off.
