Whoever said that crap has never had to deal with the pain of broken heart, much less the pain of knowing that it's because the one you love will never, ever love you back. You feel like you're drowning, but you just won't die. You don't want to get up in the morning. You think about the one you love, and it fills you with such joy, but then you come crashing back down, and it feels like your heart is lying in a thousand broken pieces; and no matter what, it will never be whole again.

Wow... Just... wow... I really don't know what else to say... There's an incredibly powerful message here. A bitter truth that a lot of folks have to accept. I could literally feel exactly what he was feeling. And for a story to do that is an amazing feat itself. Very well written! Nice work!

7936852 I can't imagine how difficult it must have been to write it. I know I would never be able to do so myself. It isn't easy to write about such deep emotions, especially if they are ones you have experienced first hand. I commend you for being strong enough to write this.
And not that it may mean anything coming from someone you don't even know, but I've always viewed things from another light. Sure things may seem hopeless now, and you may never get to be with the one you've had your heart set on... but life is full of surprises. Your heart may hurt now, but it will heal eventually. And one day you will find the one for you, and they will share your feelings. If you are going to take away anything from this, it's this... Never give up on love... Heartbreak isn't the end... it is a new beginning. Just stay strong, and it will find you.

This story was fucking great, even though I would've wished a happier ending where Rarity showed up on the castle's door with tears in her eyes. Now that I think of that, it wouldn't have been that much happier, but that doesn't matter, since this is the best Sparity oneshot I have ever read(If you can call it that).
