It's another peaceful night in Ponyville. The Cutie Mark Crusaders are having a sleepover at Rarity's, and everything seems to be going great. Then suddenly, a scream shatters the night air, and peace of the night is broken. Scootaloo has awoken from a terrifying nightmare, one that involves her own violent death at the hands of someone she cares about. It is now up to her friends, plus a little help from the adults, to ease the filly's fear and dread.

If you guys can't tell that this isn't RBF, then there is something wrong with you. Or are we against referencing other stories in a good way? I like where this is going, even if I wasn't sure at first.
See, you can write a story all your own. You did a decent job and all's forgiven, just don't lie and run off ever again.

342308 Not for the sake of arguing, but I never lied about anything. I even brought the issue up with zaptiftun and it was partially on his suggestion that I rewrite the story. But, thank you, honestly.
I have to admit, I liked the idea behind the first story, but this re-do is 100% better. I love how this deals with Rainbow Factory and what the pony's real reaction would be.
I remember reading the original and then wondering whatever happened to it. I gotta say this rewrite is several times better then the original. It may have kept the original premise, but it's definitely an entirely different story. And every pony was worked in so well. Awesome job.

I heard about "The Rainbow Factory" from one of the songs featured on Equestria Daily.
It's a very disturbing idea and I would NEVER read the comic.

Poor Scoots, it isn't exactly fun to have a nightmare, especially if you're young. Even worse, she didn't exactly react well to it.....at least no one in the group would tell anypony. considering that if DT and SS caught wind of Scotaloo wetting the bed, she'd probably never be able to live down the teasing and insulting behavior they'd dish out. Funny that I liked this way before getting an account here on Fimfiction, as I've read it before. That's three now. Exactly how many of your stores will I mark as a favorite? Actually, dreams can mean a lot. This one particular in this context could be Scootaloo's fear of failure, being rejected, of abandonment, of helplessness, of failing to live to RD.
And I wonder what kind of story there would be of it had been RAINBOW DASH'S nightmare.

1. She wasn't suffering from any of the symptoms of a concussion, and I don't think I implied that she hit her head. You don't have to call 911 for every conk on the noggin anyway.

This isn't the first time I've seen a fanfic go out of it's way to laugh at Cupcakes, but it is the first time I have seen someone do it to Rainbow Factory (which I haven't read yet).
It was a really good story! Though some of the dialogue was a bit redundant, and it kinda felt like a lot of the characters were just one character a few times.
