This was amazing. I was close to ugly crying at this ending. Also, I kind of want to see a tale about Dusk told, just to answer a few questions if nothing else. I just finished catching up on Night Patrol 2, so I do want to see more of her.

I do have a rough outline for a Dusk short story, I don't want to make any promises I can't keep, but I'll see how things shake out when Night Patrol 2 is done or close to done. I could see it being a 3 to 6 chapter story.
By the way, I couldn't help but notice that in what needs to be done Granny Smiths' husbands name was Appleale.
