I don't know why the thought of Vinyl Scratch hosting a classical music radio station amuses me so much. Maybe it's the thought of her bopping her head away to it as if she was at a rock concert. And Button Mash's cameo is cute.
You also have a very cute ending.

That last little bit earned the fav from me.
A good example of not shoving the pairing down our throats the whole story. One almost forgets about the subtle hint of affection at the beginning and the journey becomes the focus. Only thing I think could add to it is if she did get around to mentioning she had tried to get her a gift only for Twilight to mention a letter from a certain mother and child and Twilight saying she had already gotten her a great gift, or something cheesey like that
