Ha, I guess Spike showed Diamond Tiara who's the mare.
I can help but think that she had this coming for a while and for Spike to do it was worth the sight to see.
As for Dragon Twilight, I found her situation funny. As well as that "Air Mare" signal that the Mayor has in case of her flying or Scootaloo's attempt in flying. IT must be pretty special to Scootaloo to have a signal just for you.
Poor Twilight, she better stick with Rainbow Dash for now, as she can understand what it's like to fly and have a little fun with her new powers.
Also her attempt as breathing fire and having gems as a snack was a funny moment or two within the tale.
Please do keep up the good work upon such a great storyline like this one as I cannot wait to read about what happens next.

I wonder if Twilight's over looked something major in that she hasn't just grown in size, she's gone through dragon puberty and grown wings. In addition Spike's gained a cutie mark which is an important milestone for a pony though perhaps more mental/spiritual than a dragons physical change. I wonder how the spell ending will go now for I suspect Starswirl research wasn't that thorough!
