Very intense moment with Rarity starting to see what's been developing between Starlight and Twilight, even if she doesn't realize the true implications. Of course, Starlight is a smart villain protagonist and took care of Rarity quite easily and in ways that made her more suggestible. Very fun to see what she did with Rarity and looking forward to seeing what comes of this. While neither are fully complete yet, Starlight has now conquered two (plus Spike) of the Mane Six. Gonna be exciting to see her hypnotize the rest and if she can do it before being found out. The tension is really astounding and I'm excited for what her plan is.

I adored the brushing scene. That was truly inspired, using the fact that she takes so much care of her hair as a physical element to deepen her hypnosis. Very well done! Now I really want to see how you handle the others, if this is going where I think it is.

not really. if i recall right we know Rarity has a thing for gemstones since its come up in a couple episodes. trancing her with a gemstone seems very much her thing. it has nothing to do with hollywood, and everything to do with her personal likes.
