Seems pointless. And what's comedic about it?
7845010 I'd aimed for a comedic tone with the entries, hence that tag.
That said, I've waited for someone to comment on this story ever since I put it up. Anything else you didn't like? Because, looking back, I'm far from proud with this story.
7845336 Comedic tone doesn't agree well with this amount of death and gore. Few writers can pull it off.
The yeti are a mystery. Why don't they attack the village? Why did they spare the colt? Why do they stink? Why doesn't Celestia care about them? Why doesn't the narrator teleport when he's running away in the end? Did all those missing ponies really die, or was it just a rumour?
Did the narrator survive? Who's reading the log? Did the writer of the other log survive? Equestria seems organized enough to register all deaths in the area, isn't it?
If you wanted to write something like a slasher, it's poor. Though, I dislike slashers and can't rate them. If you wanted a less pointless genre, there's plenty of directions where to expand the story. For some questions a single sentence or paragraph could be enough.
