Octavia walks away from a fancy house on the north side of Canterlot. She doesn't know where she's going. The stars glow like open windows of apartment buildings high above her. All she can feel is small.

Seeking someplace smaller, she walks.

Inspired by Schoenberg's Transfigured Night. Art by YoMilbert.

I know that calling something absolutely beautiful is a bit of a cliché, but honestly, this was. This had an amazing sense of serenity to it, even while Octavia listened to drunkards and shitty house music. That final line was pretty as hell. There's really not much else to say, but goddamn...

You might wanna add a Human tag, by the way. I got a little confused because I didn't see one. Otherwise, thank you! This was fantastic.

This was nice, but now I am interested on what happened after, which is silly since is beyond the scope of the what the fic was trying to tell :applejackunsure:
