I've read plenty of bad-fics and the comments that come with them (some of them very extreme).
And I conclude that your story is not worthy of down-vote....yet
Use this chart I made up out of nowhere:
Ups - Downs = 10+: Gratz to you. Your story is probably on the "Popular Stories" list
Ups - Downs = 50+: Your story is probably on the first two(or three) slots of the "Featured" list
Ups - Downs = ~200+: You story is more or less still on the "Featured" list and will remain there until whenever
Ups - Downs = 500+: If you can get this high with two different stories, you'll be popular and people will up-vote your stories on name alone
Ups - Downs = 1,000+: You were blessed by the Fanfic Gods.
Ups - Downs = -5 or less: Story needs some work and comments will usually be constructive advice
Ups - Downs = -15 or less: You better have a good explaination (or tell people to not take it seriously). You'll get obligatory "Dafuq did I just read!"
Ups - Downs = -25 or less: If you are high, prepare to be shot down...hard. It can and will only get worse from here.
Ups - Downs = -35 or less: The Shitstorm has reached a magnitude of 11.243! Abandon Ship!

TL;DR, I like the story so far; you put emphasis on your details or describe the same object a different way.
TL;ADR, If you ain't getting those 3 or 4 random down-votes you are doing something wrong.......or your story was so good not even "trollers gonna troll."
