Speaking as someone who loves pot, I think Vinyl would have needed to be on something a hell of a lot stronger than pot for this to make any sense. Maybe if she was vaporizing liquid THC (which is a thing btw) then I'd believe it. On my best high I never imagine the dog talking to me, or the cat for that matter. In my experience I've never had mild halucinations smoking pot, so I find this hard to believe. The part where Vinyl zoned out and missed half of what happened I can believe, though barely given what was going on. Then again that could just be me, cause I love snakes and probably would have had my eyes glued to the situation. Then again I'd probably be aware enough to realize what was actually happening and been freaking out too despite personal fascinations, so there's that too.

I just feel the need to draw attention to this. Apparently the characters that have never had a line of spoken dialog throughout the entire series or had any actually canonical personality traits other than music genre preference established are not in character... In character according to who?
PS Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think either of them spoke in the second movie either. I haven't actually seen it yet, but I'm pretty sure my friend who had seen it would have been fangasming about it if they did. Hence I'm assuming they didn't.
