I was doing some thinking the other day and I think I may have discovered a logical reason to why this came out so...poorly. It's definitely something I need to be cognizant of if I'm to tackle something like this in the future.

My favorite part is that Octavia is totally happy with this without Vinyl making her happy with it.
Sheâs just genuinely enjoying whatâs happening free from any âyouâre happy unquestionablyâ BS that wouldâve definitely scared me away (Vinyl just told her not to question it, not to like it). I also like how these two clearly and truly love each other. Even if Vinyl sees Octavia as more of an object, making her do the cleaning and all that (total bitch move on her part), she still does love her as a person, and is capable of truly appreciating the letter the cellist left for her and always keeping her happiness in mind.
What I would love is for her to write âtalk to your marefriend about how you feel about your relationshipâ, and the conversation that ensues results in the pair tying the knot... after tying several knots of rope, hint hint and all that.
