Pipsqueak slowly trotted through the streets of Ponyville, looking downtrodden. After being traumatised earlier today, he just wanted to get home, lie down, maybe have something to eat, and work through all of this with the help of his loving family.

Picking his head up out of his depression, he decided to stay confident in spite of everything that happened. Everything is going to be just fine. He thought to himself, choosing to have faith in the kindness of the Universe.

When he finally reached his house, he opened the door, with a big smile on his face. “Hello, Mum and Dad. I’m…”

…and then the house was crushed by a huge piece of crystal, killing everypony inside.

“…home.”

Hey there, everybrony. It's my birthday today, and in a reversal of the usual trope, I decided to get you guys a present, as thanks reading, commenting, liking, and favouriting my stories, so please enjoy three new chapters of 8-Bit Pony.

I've already written more in this past month than I did for the whole of 2015, and I feel good that I've been able to get back into writing, so hopefully I can keep this up and have even more for you all soon.
