Since you're basing Button and his mother on the characters adapted (Button) by and created (mother) by JanAnimations, you should probably try to keep the language used as similar. The main thing that stuck out at me was your use of "mommy" and "mama", when Button would normally say "mom".
Well, I was aiming for a cute-sy shota feel. I want to leave the gamer puns out of the first chapter, because it loses that intimate, romantic feeling. But as you can see, I've tried to include that personality in the first chapter. It's difficult, I had to choose between the inner frailty of a child who is attached to his mom, or the jokey, fun-loving personality we all see in Button's Adventures. For a romance, the former seems more natural, right?
I read this story so well, its not even funny. Like what the hell, I never thought I could read a clopfic sooo...good.
