What is the best way to kill somepony? How does one kill somepony without being present; without ever interacting with them directly? I've figured it out.

A couple notes from me.
I usually don't write stories like this.
I wrote this story because my close friend got into a car accident and just barely escaped death. He's a brony, so I wrote this story and sent it to him to teach him a lesson. Of course, I decided I'd post it here.

It's short, to the point, and basically for the purpose of teaching my friend a lesson.

Hope you enjoy.

Very well written, and I must agree that the idea the story concludes with is indeed perhaps the most deadly of all. Excellent work

Very good, and totally true. So many think that exact thought. And well, that's that.

BR

This fic gave off Inception vibes.

And an urge to find an Internet for you to use as a prize. :pinkiehappy:

Very well written, I agree, and the "Idea" itself is totally true. I know people who have thought this, and were wrong. All in all, great little story here.

Very well written, and a very good lesson behind it. That thought is what is wrong with humanity. I hope your friend learned his lesson.

444741 he learned it when his face smashed through the window, I'm just driving the point home.

He's alright though, luckily.

Ah yes, the "It can't happen to me" related slightly to the "I can guarantee to you this is how I would react" sort of thinking, when given a hypothetical scenario. Anything can happen to anyone, just because it doesn't doesn't mean it won't.

Good work! I liked it! You can defeat this idea if keep telling yourself It CAN happen to you, I think. Might work for a bit anyway.

An interesting little story; I liked it, I liked it a lot.

holy crap i think i know someone who knows someone who knows you because a friend told me something similar a few days ago:pinkiegasp:(granted i have had a idea of this story's in the back of my mind but i always just said i really don't care if die so i laugh it off(no i don't want to die im just not scared there's a difference people seem to have forgotten about today

445402 you know someone who knows me? Now I'm interested as to who this is...

It's often the ones who believe that nothing will ever harm them, they'll be the first to fall depending on how "invincible" they feel.

I'm spouting gobbledygook... I think anyways... Gah, I have no idea...

Just one problem with that.

The natural counter to that thought is the following:

"Um. Yes it will. I'm not immortal (yet) so it's GOING to happen."

You think basically giving a friend nightmares is driving a point home?

Douche.

A little confused as to what you mean by "the idea". Like the idea of controlling life? That's what I got. Anyway, awesome story! You should do something like this again. To the point and you didn't draw it out. The pretty much spells perfect for me. Hope to see you again sometime.

445827 giving him nightmares? The story drives home the point that he should avoid "the idea"

Now he won't ever think like that again.

445746 wut? Not everything is going to happen...

445937 Well if I nearly died and some 'friend' of mine wrote a nightmarish story to rub in the fact I nearly died just because I made a stupid mistake, frankly, I'd think they're a complete douche.

446700 ok well, he thought it was a good story and he learned his lesson, but if that's how you would react then sure. And there's nothing really nightmarish about this story.

Love this story so much, and I have alot of people I wanna show it to. Would u mind if I de-ponify it for them? They wont pick it up or take it seriously if they think its ponies... SMH. Ill make sure to give you credit

448010 sure go ahead.

447423 Your friend is a retard then.
This pathetic excuse for a flame war is over.

449424 I don't know. Whatever you prefer is fine.

449428 That was a test.
You fail it.
Your skill is not enough
See you next time.
Bye bye.

Jesus this was creepy.
And good.

Short but good, reminded me of Death Note, the part with the criminals. dl.dropbox.com/u/31471793/FiMFiction/emoticons/shrug_Twilight_Sparkle.png Well anyway, it was a good read.
Thanks!

BUT WHO WAS PHONE!?!?!?!?!!!?!!????!?!!:pinkiegasp:

Very deep, and very well written. This piece would find a place in any anthology of psychological horror (maybe with a bit of polishing) and I mean that as a big compliment.
