Big Bang of 1494

A millennium tending to a moon that was not her creation has taken its toll on Celestia's body and magic.
Before she goes, Emerald (Spike's new form) must learn her art and create a new sun, with Luna's help.

I have had that backstory in progress for two months now, but I can't get it off the ground. I basically can't make it interesting. But I certainly will publish this story if I ever overcome this problem. :)

Sorry, I tried, but I am having a very hard time making sense of what is going on. The pronoun usage is inconsistent and irregular, so I can't tell what the subject nor object are - particularly in "It was in a strength that he never remember ever seeing they using, it reminded him of Applejack. After that, all he could see was a huge explosion of stars going his direction." and in following paragraphs.
While grammar is always very important in any story, it is especially important in one such as this, where such radical changes are being made to the canon archetype.

The plot sounds like it could be very interesting, however, and I suggest you find some people with good English grammar skills to review and edit the story.

I would have liked you to explain more about how Spike turned into an Alicorn and how he and Lune fell in love. But overall was a good story.

This story has always caught my interest, however I always felt that context is something that this story needs. Hopefully oneday a sequel or prequel will help reveal the mystery's that led to this story.
