I feel a bit silly for not figuring it out before the line.
I would consider setting them in the walls... also this is an interesting way to take this in a different direction/to another level.
Also that is a very good choice of pet!... Well unless it will become unruly or hard to control so Maud will have to refuse it or (more like likely plan to release it when it becomes a problem). Still... Inspired idea to write.

Yes. Or I may have re-read one or two chapters... I forget.
It would SEEM from the descriptions that the chapters wouldn't build on each other but rather would be functional separate works. Only the last two chapters titles hint at anything else. So I wasn't feeling any need to finish it. My browsing of this site tends to be rather ADHD.
