Spike was always an odd child. Growing up as the son of Princess Celestia, his only friends were his mother's protege, Twilight Sparkle, and the groundskeeper's son, Garble. ) But anyway I am wondering how will this go. I would be interesting to see a time jump (even if it comes alittle down the road) so we can get a teen or young adult Spike (Logan) and having him having to reveal the thing he has been hiding for so long to protect his new friends and life.

I don't plan on basing it entirely on the movies or comic books because I want the story to retain some originality instead of just ripping everything from the movies and comics. So most of the story events will be loosely based on the actual X-Men Universe. The next story will be about the Weapon X program and the introduction of the X-Men.

This was a nice introduction and set up chapter. I showed up alittle of all the mane 6 and some future problems that might pop up. I do find it interesting how Spike described Shy, (oh I hope they hook up in this story as funny as it is I can see "Logan" with someone like Shy way more then someone like Rarity).

4711682 I know what you mean. In almost every version of X-Men there is, one of the more subtle aspects is the fact that Logan is part of a love triangle with Jean Grey and Cyclops. I like to think that that's the reason why Logan and Cyclops never got along very well. Hell, the whole basis of the setting of the Wolverine is that Logan is still mourning Jean's death.
4712018 Yea I mean SOO many of his best stories involve him dealing with a romantic partner. i have a poster on my wall when Jean came to Logan and tried to hook up with him after finding out Scoot and Emma were messing around in each other minds. I know all his heartbreak is what made him who he is but I still can't help but hope yours has a better love life even if it gets alittle rocky at times lol.
