This story is a sequel to Macinplums

Sugarplum the human has been dating Big Macintosh for a while now, and the inevitable milestones and challenges start to pop up. The couple work their way though it with awkward cuteness and quiet gentleness. Then Twilight brings them news that will turn things upside down.

Sequel to this story.

Wow, a sequel to this story! Thanks!

Morning after conversations: LOL (... and more mango juice)
Sometimes it was a little confusing on who is saying what.
I was also a little confused on who Sugarplum was: Is she Max ponyfriend, and a human was going to intervene?
Then I finally realize that Carrie-Ann had renamed yourself while living in Equestria... and interesting idea.
A very good cliffhanger.

I like the story quite a lot.

He's a pony actually, but their reaction was priceless. :rainbowlaugh: :rainbowlaugh:

“What's for dinner?”

:rainbowlaugh: He managed more than I would have.

8092336 It was an important and relevant question. And as a bonus it gave him time to collect his thoughts. At least that is how I see it.

8093000 Now there is a good point. I'd probably be on the floor in that situation.

This was a cute little story, and I loved every moment of it. I can see what you mean by wanting to add more drama, but this is a story about love, not the conflicts and repercussions of an Earth/Equis merger. I feel that whatever comes from that and how it affects them would just be part of the larger growing pains of their societies interacting, and like AJ said, it's out of their hands. Can't do much to change it, so they should just try to live their lives like normal and enjoy their happy life together.

Also, I wanna know what those 'illegal measures' were that she spoke of?XD

I haven't read heavily into it, but there are technologies out there like Cre-Lox recombination.

Yeah, I couldn't make heads or tails out of that. Basically, gene manipulation, which is something I kinda figured we had for a long while now, since we can make glow in the dark cats and goats that make silk proteins in their milk.

The last exchange was hilarious - thumbs' up for that! :rainbowlaugh:
