Follow the Mane Six over the years as they deal with the trials of parenthood and helping their kids find their place in the world. Most chapters will focus on one character, and not just focus on the Man Six and their spouses and or children.. I've rated T just to cover bases. Also, it won't let me post sad and comedy at once, so we'll just check comedy. But there will be some sad moments.

I’m trying to portray it as something neither are used to. AJ has never been in a relationship and Mal has had more casual relationships than serious ones. Regardless couples fight. My parents have been married 36 years and you bet they still get into the occasional shouting match!

I had contemplated not showing them all at once, revealing them with each new character birth. But then I thought oh well, this will lead to some intrigue for the readers. Also how they appear on the cover doesn't reflect their ages, meaning that most of them won't be the same ages. I'm sure it's obvious at this point that the Apple Twins are the oldest of the bunch, and you can probably guess the next birth will be Rainbow Dash's.

My sister in law’s parents dated for like 2 weeks and got married and have been for 30+ years. Hell my own parents got engaged after 4 months, married 8 months later and just had their 36th anniversary.
Plus I figured it’s clear they’ve been dating a few months now, and it was a month after moving in together that they got married. At least that was my intent.

Well I wasn’t familiar with that term till you just wrote it as I hadn’t heard it used on the show. Either way he’s not a prince, he’s just a genetic anomaly. The TwiMacVerse is set in an alternate universe where none of this alicorn ascension was established, I had all this stuff mapped out before Twilight’s ascension and definitely way before the birth of Flurry Heart. If I have to write a whole chapter explaining he’s not a prince I will.
