The fact that Celestia herself has refused to do anything when she cast the spell and has much more power and experience then Twilight is telling. Why wouldn't she do it herself if she wanted it undone?

Also if this doesn't work if kills Gerry then Celestia has a permenant black mark on her record.

Celestia decided to double down on mistakes she caused.

On that note to not defend Celestia, but Twilight is an alicorn and element of magic so assuming she has more magic than Celestia that she can brute force the spell to turn Gerry back to normal is what Celestia is probably trying to bet on.

It still doesn't exolain why she isn't doing anything. So what of she has more raw magic, she cast the spell. So why wouldn't she just go out and help? Instead of tossing some notes to Twilight, the person who cast the spell and kniws how it works goes and helps to reverse it. It really does look like Celestia isn't trying to help, but possibly make it worse in the xourse of attempt to solve it.

Regardless of if it works, it still makes Celestia look terrible. If she did it but does nothing to reverse her iwn magic, it raises the doubts as to if she even cares or wants to help him.

Seeing as Gerry has told Big Mac about his origins, that would require Big Mac to rape him. It would also require everyone to ignore that Gerry doesn't actually have romantic feelings for Big Mac, and any attraction is an involuntary product of being turned into a mare in heat.

Plus since Gerry doesn't have a Cutie Mark of his own, that would make Twilight's own ascension to being an Alicorn a hypocritical thing with how she did it by returning ponies own cutie marks to them. Then there's Starlight and Sunset, who respectively think cutie marka are bad and the latter being currently human.

I did not mean right out of the gate, it would be like a romantic comedy that you could look up or any anime where the mc forcibly changes gender and can't turn back. They learn to get use to their new bodies and start to fall in love with a guy. That or they turn lesbian which would be interesting if I didn't get on board with the chemistry between Jerry and Big mac who didn't take advantage of Jerry's heat and behaved himself.

Applejack, of course. She sees him as he wishes to see himself and has supported him the longest, if she was a unicorn she'd likely try to find a way to turn him back herself. There's a better foundation for a relationship, qnd since Applejack is female and sees Gerry as male there's a basis for physical attraction.

well going to suck for big mac. He finds a mare that he's starting to have feelings for only for a bizarre series of events leads to his sister falling in love with her/him.
