I wish I could give this story another thumbs up. What a great plot.

if celestia has lost twilights respect then this could get interesting as now twilight sees celestias manipulation on this she wont be as quick to brush off other things. at this point im hoping that celestia gets a tast of her own medicen finaly or twilight forcefully demotes her and makes what she has done public

Despite Applejack’s numerous warnings, I was simply not prepared for the fever that overcame my body. The dread I felt was not one of dysphoria, as it seemed that Celestia had taken care of that for me, but rather one of anxiety. I didn’t know how Equestria as a civilized society of animals would deal with it. Would it be like a human’s period? A fact of life that everybody ignores for politeness sake. Or would it compel the stallions around me into a sex fuelled rage, the likes of which would only be seen on the most dangerous parts of the web?

Most stories i've seen with this have the latter being the case... But with the mares being the "predators".

Freaking hell. I was afraid this would eventually happen. I was hoping he'd be able to hold out, but no. Bad end. Celestia won. She got her way. Great evil committed through what she believed to be benevolent action.

Still a great story and I'm interested in seeing where the author takes it.

I'm kinda hoping Celestia gets exposed, at least to the right people. Twilight already knows what a manipulative bitch Celestia is now. I can hardly imagine just how betrayed and used Twilight feels since Celestia being the coward she is, didn't cast the spell herself. I wonder what Luna would think of her sister using such mental manipulation magic. You know, the kind of mental magic Sombra used? That's what he was known for.

Sadly, there is only one outcome I see in this where Celestia is forced to confront what she has done and that is a near identical scenario which caused her to think this was all a good idea and pull this stunt in the first place. The main character can get driven to the point of suicide and then the Celestia of this story's world would be screwed both ways on ever thinking to do it again. That or she would have to come up with even more preventative fail-safes to stop the one she next casts this stuff on from acting on suicidal urges. Spite can be a dangerous thing. Earlier I would have classed the main character (unsure which name they are going by at this point due to Celestia's mental screwball) as being fully capable of doing so as they were that spiteful/resentful of Celestia's meddling, but I doubt that is where this version of the story is going.

The horrifying part of this is that if Celestia can pervert someone's identity and make them accept being changed at that level she's demonstrated the ability to make a pony betray their own core values. She could make anyone love or hate anything, even go against their iwn cutie mark.

Edit: and this may be dark as fuck, but if nobody will do anything about him there really isn't a reason to live anymore.

I am pretty sure all we want at this point is Celestia fucking dead or left with her life in ashes before her.

If celestia does gets something done to her i think it should be donr by anon, i always do love a good revenge story.

The way I see it what Celestia did, while deceptive and manipulative, was ultimately the right thing. Other than the lying part. If there’s no way to change them back and they can’t even look in a mirror without being disgusted then a little mind-tampering is probably for the best, and the closest she can get to fixing her mistake
