I used to love my lonely life. But now that I have made some unlikely friends, I sometimes miss their company when I am out there on the tracks in the small hours. Especially that one guy. Too bad I cannot bring Trax with me on a date. She would probably handle it better than me.

This story will make no sense without having read Steel Dreams.

When Nightmare Moon’s rebellion tore across Equestria, leaving a trail of blood and horror in its wake, Princess Celestia knew that merely banishing her sister wouldn’t be enough. Her army was too powerful, and too bloodthirsty, to be left behind without a leader. When she finally turned the Elements of Harmony against her, she didn’t just banish Nightmare Moon. She banished thousands.

Now they’re in a race against time, to find a way to survive in an environment so alien that every aspect of it is trying to kill them. They face suffocation, freezing, boiling, starvation, radiation, meteorite impacts, low gravity… the list goes on.

Nightmare Moon thought she should be the ruler of all Equestria. Now, in a world nopony was ever meant to survive, her abilities will be put to the ultimate test.

For the nocturne of the Royal Dream Service, the night is the time when their purpose as ponies is fulfilled. By traveling through the Dreamscape, they are capable of delivering dreams to sleeping ponies across the world.

Once each year, one deliverymare is chosen to carry a most important dream--tonight, that mare is Night Whisper. By all rights, it should be a delivery like any other.

A routine delivery. A dream identical to that of each past year, delivered to a mare who lived each day identically to the last.

But nothing can be called "normal" when flying to the Moon.

After being awoken by a disturbance in the night, a frightened Fluttershy is forced to investigate what it is that has invaded her home. Yet, after a great deal of panicking she finally discovers something she certainly wasn't expecting. Stranger still, she might actually have something in common with her new and unusual guest.

The night a little pony has been looking for for a long time has finally arrived. Ever since he heard the stories of old, he had always hoped that this day would come, and he would be there to witness it.

The dare was simple enough: break into Granny Rags' house, grab something old and creepy then get out of there as quickly as possible.

However, Jemaul and Matt were in for the most interesting Halloween of their lives as they learn that one does not simply steal from a witch and get away scot-free.

Who says the magic isn't real? These boys certainly don't now.

Night Flight was like any other bat pony: webbed wings, nice fangs, fluffy ears, and an extreme taste for mangoes.
Then the mango decides (as best as an inanimate object can) to retaliate somehow.
It would not go down without a fight.

Luna's been on the moon for the past millennium. So when she comes back, she feels out of place. No one she knows is alive anymore and this generation of ponies makes her feel even more alien. Celestia decides to have her meet some ponies who may understand her emotions and, in so doing, bring her out of her shell.

Dusky isn't looking for trouble. All she wants is a job, a place to call her own, and a quiet life.

But when Diamond Dogs kidnap four foals, it's up to Dusky—formerly Major Dusk Fireball, Household Battalion, Equestrian Royal Guard—to lead the citizen-soldier reservists of the Ponyville Home Guard into the Dogs' caves in a desperate rescue mission.

Sparks Fly had moved to Hollow Shades as a foal along with his father. While it had seemed odd at first to be the only two unicorns in a town of bat ponies, he had grown up as all colts will.

But Sparks, and his friend Mango, have left their quiet little home town to go to Canterlot; they were both eager to join the Guard, and they had a plan!
