Trixie and Gilda have been in Fillydelphia for some time, and it’s almost, but not quite, to their taste. There’s no good work — at least, no good work with monthly paychecks, annual performance reviews and a promotion track that doesn’t involve murder — for a travelling illusionist and an uncertified bouncer, so to cover the rent they’ve had to resort to bad work.

Well, not bad bad work. And certainly not that sort of bad work. The hours are good, the pay is more than adequate, and the people they meet are interesting.

They cater to a certain clientele, ponies who know it’s not just what you have in life that makes you happy, but what you don’t have. Like vengeful rivals. Or snitches. Or nosy detectives.

Or dead bodies.

When that is the particular problem, Gilda and Trixie get a call. For a reasonable price and a good reference, they’ll make your problem disappear...

Fluttershy has been called away on an adventure. An adventure without Rainbow Dash.

A terrible affliction has befallen the peaceful town of Ponyville, and the lavender unicorn and her friends are right in the middle of it! And the edges of it. Heck, it's pretty much lavender unicorns all over.

A story unrelated to anything.

When Twilight finds a horribly distraught Gilda in the library, begging for help with Rainbow Dash, what is she to do? Twilight, the number one expert on friendship, has been asked to help with a friendship issue, so why not? It should make an interesting letter to the Princess if nothing else.

Knowing full well that I haven't finished it yet, I am setting this in the same Cannon as New Perspective, though it can stand on it's own.

The armies of the the free world — from the Myrmidons of Minos to the Border Guard of Equestria — unite to free the deer nation Nainuoc from a tyrant and destroy his secret doomsday devices.

Critics see a quagmire, cooked up on flimsy pretenses. Supporters see a just war of liberation, for the safety of the world.

Gilda and Trixie see comically large sums of money, drifting softly into their clutches.

Rainbow Dash and Gilda are alike in many ways. They're both totally awesome at flying. They're both totally hilarious. And, of course, they're the only girls at Junior Speedsters that aren't totally annoying and dumb.

However, Rainbow Dash begins to see how different they truly are when Gilda offers her a taste of the bird she's just caught for lunch. Rainbow Dash doesn't eat other animals, and she knows that Gilda is super gross for doing so—but she'll be damned if she's about to let Gilda think she's a wuss. After all, it's just a stupid bird; what's the worst that can happen?

A short vignette about animals and friendships. Originally written in about an hour for the January /fic/ Write-off, "All In." Rated Teen for some minor grotesque imagery. Thanks to Soge and Bachiavellian for offering some insights.

The nice thing about living in Appleloosa, Gilda has discovered, is that you don't have to share the skies with anyone else. There may not be many clouds in the sky for perching and napping, but a warm rock on a high pinnacle can work just as well.

The locals are at least tolerable. Earth ponies tend to be a simple, predictable bunch, prone to routine.

It's when you get out-of-towners coming through, though, that problems can erupt. Especially when too much hard cider is involved.

Fluttershy's work day took a turn for the awkward when Dash's ex-friend, Gilda shows up at her doorstep begg-I mean demanding she fixes her sick mock turtle, Mochrie. Fluttershy must try to overcome her fear of the loudbeak griffin in order to help an ill creature. But is Gilda really all that bad?
