That prose was pretty darn purple at points. Not story breaking, but tone it back a little in the future.
Good start so far. A Gilda/Scootaloo story is clever - they kind of seem like opposites to some extent, since Scootaloo can't fly. I'm curious to see where this is going.

This is really good. Hope to see more.
This should be intersting. I can see Gilda drawing parallels between the Rainbow Dash she went to school with, while at the same time comparing her to the much weaker flyers she knew from school. This confusion would only increase when Gilda discovers Scootaloo's inability to fly, yet finds herself uwillingly impressed by certain mad scooter skills.
The only issue I see so far is that technically Scootaloo would not have met Apple Bloom yet.
I hope you'll write more of this.

Woah, a really good story with a ton of potential that hasn't been updated in ten years? No matter how many times i encounter something like this, it still kills me inside. Especially with how little attention gilda gets beyond crappy romance/porn fics.
