Out of the sisters, Marshmallow Heart was always the one with 'awkward-itis', which her sister Cotton Candy dubbed as, 'The horribly awkward way somepony should talk to a stallion'. It got even worse when she invites Marshmallow Heart down to Ponyville to attend the gala with her. She wants her sister to settle down with a stallion or even just make a few friends, but Marshmallow Heart thinks there's no possible way. What will await this awkward mare at the fanciest gala of them all?

Now, I could go on and on about this whole story about my life, but that would be kind of annoying, so I'm going to go with this:

Just for all of you reading this, just remember, this story is purely for my own fun and things that you might not understand with this story is alright. This thing is ridiculously long and has so much background and story to it that it may takes months before a question is ever answered. Talon James Eques, a young Captain in the E.I.N. (Earth Imperial Navy) has fought the evil of the
Shadow Spawn for years. When he receives a vision of the shadow spawn attacking an Innocent world, he immediately rushes to their aid. As he touches down on this new planet he is immediately caught up in a battle between one of the rulers of this world and a shadow spawn legionnaire, he lends her aid and begins a counter movement against the shadow spawn who are already beginning to spread their corrupting influence across this peaceful world.

Talon already harbors the power of light, the ability to sense and actually harm the shadow spawn, but will that be enough to turn the tide in a war against an evil that has existed since the beginning of time? Will his power alone be enough or will he have to accept help from the very beings he is attempting to protect? And will the biggest question he has about the situation be answered? (What's with the multicolored ponies?)

Well I'm Back, Finally! Now I went through both my stories that I have here but I'm going to focus on this one for now, truth be told I kind of rushed into this one a bit, now that doesn't mean I'll quit writing this one just yet, but I also have a possible rewrite planned for it. Now this is where I'll leave a question for everyone who reads this. Should I rewrite this story or keep going with what I have, If I keep going I'll try to plan out future chapters better. If I rewrite this it will go int a little more detail about the characters as individuals, the chapter lengths will probably be a bit erratic, and I won't post it until I'm happy with what I got written so far. But I'll try to keep updates persistant. So everyone leave comments or suggestions after you read this story so I know what I'll have to do.

To Whom It May concern, this is canon divergent, and the circumstances in this fic are but the best delivery for the situation that I wish to create. It is not an accusation fic, and those elements will be nothing but background to the primary events of the story. if you added it to one of those collections, please remove it.

He groaned as he woke, and he opened his eyes to the same dirt road he’d fallen asleep aside. Maybe it was the crying, or just the situation hitting him in full force, but Spike woke up exhausted, not even wanting to move an inch from his sleeping position under the tree. He layed in the grass, eyes half lidded, but awake, and he stared at the ground next to him, watching a band of ants trailing along to their anthill. He flinched as he felt a ladybug of all things land on his nose. He stared at it angrily, and given the reason he was out here, he felt it was well deserved. A twist of good birthday luck spurred on an instinct that he didn’t even know he had and a power that he didn’t even know he had turned his happy birthday and the next few days into the worst bad luck he’d ever experienced.

And if this ladybug was meant to represent good luck like ponies said it did, he really could’ve used it two days ago.

Still, his anger crumbled to pieces at a thought that he’d shied away from, because he wanted to believe more than anything that it wasn’t true, he had every reason to think it wasn’t true, but still, it cropped up, like an annoyingly persistent weed that the farmer of his field of thoughts had to tend to and yank up every few minutes.

Even if he hadn’t known this would happen, he could’ve stopped it. He could’ve stopped taking things, stopped trying to build a hoard and now what? He didn’t and he was paying the price for greed. What was the word Twilight used? Avarice. It was Avarice he’d had, and now he was paying the price.

It was all his fault, and he was stuck with the results.

Ponykind knows so little about dragons, and the Greed Growth incident came unexpectedly because of that. Spike, having the terrible magnitude of incident come crashing down on him, runs away from Ponyville, along the way meeting an eccentric Satyr, and encountering the Changelings, as well as whole cabal of powerful deities. Hoping to improve the condition of the Changeling Hive, and wanting a reason to stay away from the Ponies who know so little, and have so much to fear, he finds himself psuedo-adopted by the Changeling Queen. With new powers, a whole host of issues and conflicts to resolve, and friends to try and help from a distance, Spike's hands are more than full, especially with trying to stop Queen Chrysalis from starting a war.

Months of planning and preparation have steeled Twilight and her friends for this day. All that they need now is Celestia's permission to proceed.

After being granted their request almost all the girls are ready to help Sombra become their friend, however those five can only hope that Fluttershy will find the courage to show kindness to the tyrant. The yellow Pegasus could only hope that kindness and friendship will be enough to save her from the most horrifying pony she had ever known. As for Sombra, his only desire would be the chance to take vengeance upon the ponies that stole his empire in the most horrible ways he can imagine. Celestia as always happily watches from afar keeping her hooves clean of the silliness her little ponies.

This one is a bit odd... in a good way. I had a ton of fun writing it to the point that I almost wrote the epilogue before I wrote the main body. I laughed almost the whole time writing this and I hope that I can make other people laugh with it... until the laughing time is over and it is time to be sad... then you can laugh again, but then be sad, then happy... then laugh once more... not necessarily in that order.

How does a business stay open when it only seems to have one regular customer(two if you count that there are times when she might send her number one assistant instead of going herself) and four or so mares that simply spend an hour or so there to drink tea every other week? Well that's the mystery surrounding Quills and Sofas. A mystery Twilight Sparkle has no intention of unraveling. Her line of questioning involves the highly secretive Mares' club that meets in the establishment every other week, “The Sisterhood of the Couch and Quill.”

The answer is certainly not something she would have ever expected considering the collection of mares belonging to the club. Two were among her closest friends, another was a rather famous musician from Canterlot and the last was a somewhat vision impaired mailmare. What was this strange collection of ponies doing in a secret club?

After three years of inquiry, being denied answers from two of her closest friends, and being crowned an alicorn princess, Twilight finally has the opportunity to learn the Sisterhood’s secrets by way of a rather unexpected royal invitation.

Though the Sisterhood will have their hooves busy with more than one new inductee, both of which are likely untrustworthy. Which is odd considering the Sisterhood is an anti-terrorist organization that has existed in secret for nearly fifteen hundred years and tasked by a very young Princess Luna to protect peace and freedom for all citizens at any cost including the use of deception, violence, and outright murder when the need arises. However a little over a thousand years ago Luna might have had more problems than the history books were allowed to reveal. Problems that could harm her more than she realizes.

A little over a thousand years ago, at about the same time, Luna was banished, and an entire race of crystal ponies disappeared. A mysterious paradox existed over the Crystal Empire known as Heaven's Gate had caused certain ponies to do crazy things. When it disappeared, Luna and Sombra went mad, and Celestia had to banish them. Since Luna is the goddess of the night sky, when she was banished, her sky was banished with her, so Princess Celestia had to create a new one. And with each new star, a pony became a contractor, a pony with extra special powers that even highly trained unicorns couldn't master. Now, a new Gate called Hell's Gate has appeared over the Everfree Forest, and because of it, Luna has disappeared again, taking the sky with her, forcing Celestia to forge a new one, along with new contractors, including Twilight Sparkle.

You may notice that Rainbow Dash is a main character, but isn't there for the first few chapters. She does eventually become a main character in chapter 8, Through The Smoke, An Ally Is Found.

The Cover art was made partly by me putting together a pic of Twilight that I found and a pic of Mare Do Well that I found, but then NixWorld, made it awesome, adding the background and special effects. Cover art inspired by this.

If you can't tell yet, this is a Darker Than Black themed AU. It's not really a crossover because no Darker Than Black characters are actually in it. Just the circumstances and kind of the setting (except of course it's in Equestria, not Tokyo). Since it's not much of a crossover or a straight up copy, artistic license has been used. I really recommend watching the show though, or at least a few of the first episodes. It's available for free on Hulu (both subbed and dubbed), you just have to watch some ads. (It's rated TV-MA in America and 15 in the UK, but seriously, if you're concerned about rating, forget about that. There is no reason for the MA rating whatsoever. There are some mature themes, but it should really be TV-14 in America)

Out of nowhere, the Princess sends a group of ponies to Ponyville preceded by a hasty note explaining that they have an important message for them. What could this message be, and why hasn't the Princess come herself?

NOTE: The prologue is only semi-related to the plot. It's a method I use to explain a large amount of complicated background so that it doesn't bog down the plot.

OK. I have had this idea for a while now but there is a bit of background that you are going to need to know. First, the OC's in this story actually come from another project I am working on called The Arcadian Chronicle. Bits of it are online here=>www.yootahwrites.webs.com and basically they are super heroes that live on a space station and are involved in an intergalactic war with a race called the Bluesuit. But the only bit that matters to this story is their developmental stage. In this story, Yootah, Spike and Caterwaul have all achieved their 'Final Releases' which mean they can use the full extent of their powers. Caterwaul (who will feature most frequently) is telekinetic and can change into a nine-foot tall werecat. Spike can mess with electricity and has insane speed with limited teleporting ability. Yootah can use Chaos energy, teleport and has two spirit weapons: Rael(the dragon) and Lisi (the wolf). That gives you everything you need to know about the naturally human characters.
Second, I wrote this because my friend (will not say his name, but he will probably leave it in the comments anyway) is a bit of a Luna fan-boy and I wanted a way to put the character i based on him (Caterwaul) and Luna in a relationship, and since this is a cross-over with my Arcadian chronicle story, it had to be in some kind of conflict. So I hope you enjoy my Anthropomorphised pony adventure into the world of space warfare and superheroes. It honestly is not as nerdy as it seems.
