After Young Cadence buried Young Twilight, the next day, Cadence decided to bury Twilight's brother, Shining Armor.

This was inspired by the movie Goodbye, Lenin.

Twilight Velvet, avid supporter of the Equestrian monarch, has a near-fatal heart attack from seeing her daughter beaten and arrested during a protest that should've never come to be. She falls into a coma, and Princess Luna returns to the throne during her sleep. With the doctors saying "No Surprises," it is up to her family to prevent her from finding out that Equestria is now a diarchy, so she doesn't have a second, possibly fatal, attack.

Unsanctioned contact with Extradimenstionals is illegal. Lawbreakers of the multiverse will be tracked down, and Exterminated on sight.
Punishment: The removal of Free Will.
No exceptions.
No tolerance.
No mercy.
No hope.
Forever.

The reasons are because there is a butt ton of lore built up for The Great Multiverse Theory, all of which conspire to make it really hard to tell a story with it. Twilight has not seen her older brother in quite some time. Given that she’s just received tenure, is the Chairman of the Physics department, and is basically now the central figure of Butler University’s Astronomy program, it’s safe to say that she deserves a vacation.

Shining Armor has held a position at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage for about two or three years. He and his wife, Cadance, have also recently welcomed their daughter, Flurry Heart. Suffice it to say, they need to move to a bigger house.

I’m very glad to have hit it off well with Twilight in Chicago, and I would love to grow our friendship, but sibling competitions aren’t my thing, given my own family history.

Though not on the list, Shining Armor and Night Light do appear.

Then Braveheart, a single earth pony plumber, came along, and got the job done in less than 10 minutes,Twilight then finds she has somewhat of affection for the "rugged and bold" earth pony plumber, as Rarity put it. Will she give in? Or stay cold?

Twilight Sparkle is trying to fit in at school, but she's mostly shy due to something her parents would never tell her. All she knows is that her parents and big brother Shining Armor want her to live a calm life. Boy was Twilight in for a surprise.
