It’s a dream come true, when I find my way to Equestria, and turn into a little pony, a mare! This can’t be an accident. I must be in a story! The problem is, I know how these stories end. I’m supposed to learn the lesson that my old life was worthwhile after all, and return home. But Equestria is a wonderful, beautiful land, and the longer I live here, the more I fall in love with it. There’s nothing for me to return to, besides loneliness, sorrow, and eventually death, so can’t I just... stay here?

The World is an MMORPG, and such a game has never existed before in Equestria. When a new player shows up and befriends other players, however, things suddenly take a turn for the worse in-game and in real life.

Berry Punch duels a recent adversary while plastered

Ten years ago Falcon Lee Punch was one of the best Pegasi in the Day Guard. But then he met and married an Earth Pony, Strawberry Berry, retired from the Guard, and became the father of two fillies. Now he lives just northwest of Ponyville, on the ground, working as a courier to help support his family.

An old friend in the Guard hires him for a special assignment. Fly to Appleloosa, pick up a special package, and bring it to the Palace at Canterlot. There are rumors of hostile spies walking undetected among Ponies, so it's better to handle this privately. Not too dangerous, for an old Guardspony like Falcon Punch ...

But in a war that Equestria doesn't even know is being waged against them, there is bound to be some damage.

Takes place in the "Shadow Wars" continuity, in the summer of YOH 1481, almost 19 years before Luna's Return. Contains major elements of Phoenix_Dragon's fanon, most specifically one of his characters from the early part of Without a Hive, but is not canon to that universe.

Just a little kind of rant-story about Christmas (or whatever you call it) commercialisation... and about every other holiday. Why is this here early? Because this stuff always starts this early. Saw an ad in the paper, 'Santa is here get a photo with him!' so many peeves. Probably done before but heck, I'll do it again! Also, title is not a typo.

On the subject of misleading cover art, only Rarity, Twilight, Spike and some background ponies features here, I couldn't really find a cover art suitable for this.

Lyra was determined to beat her friend, Bon Bon. Both were winners in the end, but a few students caught on to a certain "trick" she regrets thinking of.

Lyra now has a few friends on her case and want to try it, but she'd rather leave it as a mystery and hopefully it'll stay that way.
