I was born a black Pegasus with a fiery red mane in Cloudsdale. I have a talent in finding true friends, seeing through the facade of false kindness. The talent had saved me from numerous awkward moments, but also caused other problems.

  Now I'm moving out of my parents' home, in search of something to call my own.  I'm making this a special adventure, or at least that had been the initial intent. I had no idea who, or what was awaiting me.

  What is my destiny and who would I become? These are the kind of questions only you can answer by leaving your childhood's home. Once I had set of on my seemingly safe and harmless quest, the Pegasus that left can never come back, a lesson I'm soon to learn

Sky Note lives in the time beyond the Elements of harmony, beyond the time of the land of Equestria, and beyond the time of Princess Luna. Yes, Luna is dead. This threw off the balance of sun and moon and so Princess Twilight gets a new student.

Great. Now relax and observe. They will start any minute now. Oh, you won't recognize them at first, they'll be slightly different than usual. But you'll see, soon enough, they'll be your favorite once again.
In the meantime, shut up and listen. It begins.

Long fic started back in 2015. Chapters are huge (for my standards at least) and my motivation was low back then. Hope I can keep on going there. This is my comfort story. The story I write for when nothing else seems to be working. Chapters over 10k words will be split in enough parts to be under that threshold.
It is a very slow story, at least for modern standards.
While the overall story will stay the same, small retcons are a possibility (the thing has been going on for 10 years and is projected to be probably at least 500k words long, so yeah, sorry if not everything is 100% planned and foreshadowed). Scenes could be added here and there in already published chapters. BUT, most of it is going to stay the same. I'll put an endnote at each new chapter summarizing possible changes.

Little update! for those poking around from the Deadpool fic, or you just stumbled across this fic, or the fat chance that you are a long time fan, I've decided to put this on hiatus until I get to a stopping point in DPEQGA. I will not be abandoning this fic, as it is my baby that I put way too many hours into to toss out and forget.
