"This nation should commit itself to achieving the goal, before this decade is out, of landing an astronaut on the moon and returning them safely to Earth."

- Excerpt of speech to US Congress by President Amore. It inspired her nation in such a way that her sucessor, Sombra, vowed to make it a reality.

The Space Race is considered by most to be the most ambitious undertaking in the history of humankind. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration launched a series of programs that aimed to advance scientific discovery and engineering by leaps and bounds, and push the world into a new age of exploration. It was almost the crowning achievement of our species.

Almost.

-Inspired by William Safire's contingency speech for Richard Nixon during the moon landings.

Also, The Martian, Gravity, and pretty much anything else space-related.

Like most, I used to be a regular guy going about day-to-day life. Now? I'm stuck in a world of anthropomorphic ponies, deemed the most dangerous thing to ever grace the lands alongside a mismatched trickster, dark magic emo twat, lying (though admittedly sexy and hot) bug queen and a power stealing hybrid cunt.

Worst part though? I've been turned into a Nuckelavee from RWBY.

Swell.

So yeah, I've decided to do a displaced story where a guy gets turned into a grimm from RWBY, specifically the Nuckelavee. Maybe within the first five chapters I'll get some crossovers with other stories/writers going, who knows.

Any who, this has been Redsummer, and I hope you enjoy.

P.s: this is inspired by Equestria's White Fang by Garnet Naturea

P.p.s: I do not own either MLP, RWBY nor the cover art. So do not assume I do.

[Author's note: This is NOT my usual type of story at all! It was written from a very random idea of mine and in no way ties in with any of my other stories. Just a "what if" kind of scenario that got a little out of hand.]

Written for an art trade with Commander Rainstorm. You said I could write anything, so I wrote this.

Chapters (1)

Twilight's parents have arranged a marriage between her and a pony named Star Swirl. When Twilight finds out, she is not happy.

However, before she has time to dwell on it, disaster strikes.

A powerful unicorn named Sombra has begun taking over the country, destroying entire villages and towns as mere game. According to the breathless messenger, the nearest town, only two days travel, is already under his control. All mages who fought him have failed, even with their combined strength.
Burdened with this knowledge, Star Swirl immediately prepares for a long journey, one that he and Twilight will share. Legend tells of an enchanted book hidden deep within the mountain ranges, said to hold spells more powerful than that of ten skilled sorcerers. He believes it may be the only way to defeat Sombra before it's too late.

Throughout their mission, they will face many challenges and trials. They will make mistakes, learn new skills, and prepare for coming storm on their return. Together, they endure everything life has to throw at them.
Twilight begins warming up to Star Swirl, even enjoying his company.

And then one day, the realization hits her.

She is slowly falling in love with him.

(This story is set in the same time era of when the three pony tribes lived apart. But before the events that created 'hearts warming eve'.)

(Also, I know the cover photo makes him look old, but in this story he's really about the same age as Twilight.)

This story is a sequel to Spike Finds Love At Last

After a long and confusing relationship in the future, Spike and Twilight fell in love and decided to marry. The dragon's been adjusting to life as a husband and a prince, but just when he starts to get comfortable, he discovers that Twilight's pregnant with their first child. Fast forward several months, and she gives birth to their baby--only that said baby turns out to be a creature once thought to be just a myth. It turns out to be a kirin, a hybrid of a pony and a dragon.

When Starswirl the Bearded gets wind of this, it sends him asking questions of his own, questions he sets out to find the answers to. Celestia will join him on this quest, and what he will find out might just send shockwaves through Equestria...

In the meantime, Twilight and Spike have no idea how to raise a kirin, but they're determined to put everything they have into it. To say she'll be a handful is an understatement, especially when she unveils her powers...

Part 2 of the My Little Kirin saga. Spike Finds Love is Part 1. However, it is not required reading for this story. Edited with the help of Salnalus. No, the kirin doesn't look like that, just wanted to use a pic to show what they look like in mythology.
